Sitting on this chair in this room,
I get prepared for what I'm about to do
I feel so many emotions, fear, agitated
I hope they understand this is how I
Was created
I hope they know this isn't a phase
The door opens and I switch my gaze
From the floor to you,
lets do what I'm about to do
I ask you to sit
You ask what's wrong
I ignore the question
"I've thought how to say this.
A letter? A song? But I settled for just sitting down and telling you the truth. Here's what I'm about to do"
I spend some time getting prepared
All the emotions come back
Sad, scared
But this time it's ten times worse
But I know I have to say it now,
We're too immersed
Halfway through I burst into tears
Everything's overwhelming
You and I sitting here.
When I'm about to tell you something that may change your whole view
This is what I want...
What I need to do
I have to do this
I can't hide myself anymore
My gaze once again switch's to the floor
This is it
No more delay
Two words I need to say
"I'm gay"
