Robert convinced them to get Yuki to sing coz he "thought the fans would like it". So they wrote a black metal album for Yuki to sing on. (demon)
side characters :
They have a manager called Robert (Owen calls him Boaby). He is 43 and the 4th manager they've had, the other ones leave coz they're too crazy/people die at their concerts. He is involved with demons in some way but dunno why
Eden, Rachel's girlfriend who Yuki met in college (when he went for like 2 months). designs the albums and promotions for the band. She studies graphic design.
Megan, Yukis best friend from school. Has nothing to do with the band but is very supportive and loves Yuki. Low-key has the hots for Kyle even tho she has a bf
Vague story :
dont know when the story is actually placed but it's around 2012-2013 for them just so it fits in with the time of when they met.
Owen was really into music in school (the only subject he passed) so he convinced Kyle to do it with him and make a band. Owen stole a bass from school, and convinced Kyle to help him make posters advertising a drummer position. Rachel phoned Kyle and did a wee "audition" and then we're all friends forever.
At first Kyle was TOTALLY against singing, until he did it drunk once and Owen went mental about how good a singer he was.
Yuki joined the band a year later once Kyle started dating him. Yuki was already really into playing guitar, so it was a no brainer for Kyle to ask him to join the band. Owen was practically besties with him at this point anyway so he didn't mind.
at the start they made tons of covers and posted them on YouTube, filmed on Yuki's laptop webcam. They gained quite a big following from this. Managing to book some small venues to perform in.
their first cover was 'i predict a riot'.
