If I Never Met You (Sasunaru)

A New Home

Naruto walked through the halls of Kahona high, he hated the school that he had been forced to join. He has been an orphan for as long as he can remember, the elders group of Kahona village got to choose the school he attended to. He had one friend, a loyal guy who Naruto admired and looked up to.

"Kiba, wait up! " Naruto yelled down the hallway as he saw Kiba enter his homeroom.

Kiba stopped and watched as Naruto ran to catch up. They entered the classroom together and sat down.

*time skip to lunch* *Naruto's POV*

I walked out of the classroom with Kiba. I was glad we had the period before lunch together, because I didn't want to end up wandering the halls alone looking for him. I have had a lot of bullies targeting me lately. Not only because of the demon fox trapped inside of me, but also because I recently came out as homosexual, or gay, as they like to call it. And news spreads fast around here.

As we made our way into the lunchroom, we ran into one of my least favorite people at this school.

"Hey little fox, " Sai said with a smooth, yet evil tone to his voice.

"Get lost, Sai" Kiba snapped, guarding me from him.

Sai glared at Kiba, but backed off and walked down the hallway.

We entered the cafeteria, got lunch, payed for it, and sat down next to some of Kiba's other friends.

I never thought of Kiba's friends as my own. I never took notice of them, really. They were just... kind of there.

I sat down and ate my ramen as Kiba talked to Shikamaru and Choji. They are his friends, after all.

After we ate, I decided to tell Kiba that I was going to visit the council of Kahona's elders to tell them about the bullies at school.

"Do you want me to go with you? " He asked after I explained the situation.

"Sure, if you want to" I replied as we walk down the hall to our homeroom.

*skipping to after school*

"Naruto! " I heard Kiba yell from behind me. I stopped and let him catch up.

We walked down the road to a big red building. When we entered, we went to the lady at the front desk and asked for the room the elders association was in today.

"Your name, please?" She asked after I explained.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and this is Kiba, but he isn't part of the orphan program." I said followed by a grin.

"Ok then..." She looked at a clipboard until she found my name and nodded. "Room 213 on the second floor" She said.

We thanked her and went to the stairs.
The building had an elevator, but Kiba gets motion sick from the elevators, so we decided that it would be best to up the stairs.

Once we got up to the second floor, we made our way down the long hallway. We found room 213 and knocked on the door. An old man opened it. I knew him as Saratobi, the leader of the group.

He welcomed us in, recognizing me immediately. "Hello, Naruto. Who is your friend here?" He asked nodding to Kiba.

"That's Kiba. He tagged along today.  I hope you don't mind." I said with my famous grin.

"Oh, no, not at all. Anyways, what brings you here today, Naruto?" He asked returning my grin.

"Well, it's about school." I said.

He sat Kiba and I down in front of a desk, and he sat down on the other side.

*after the meeting* *Kiba's POV*

Naruto and I walked out of the old people organization room. I couldn't believe what that old guy just told us. He said Naruto had to move schools to one in the village for 'special' students so he wouldn't get bullied anymore. Luckily, we have phones and each other's numbers. We can keep in touch and meet up somewhere on the weekends. He has to move to an apartment closer to his new school. But it it's close enough to visit him after school.

*the next day* *Naruto's POV*

I packed all of my things in my apartment into boxes and moved them to the moving van. I was going to miss my old apartment, but the new one was going to be bigger and higher class. I will miss Kiba and his dog, Akamaru, too. I wish I could stay, but I don't like getting laughed at every time I walk into a classroom.

I put the last of the boxes in the van and got in next to the driver. He had a name tag that said " Itachi Uchiha" I guess his name is weasel. We drove to my new apartment. On the way, Itachi mentioned something about his little brother going to the same school as me. I think he said he went there because of his mental conditions. Anyway I gasped as we pulled into the driveway of my apartment building. I got out of the van and found my apartment. I went in to the empty room. It has furniture in it but the floor was clean and the walls had no pictures on them. I brought in my boxes and it felt more like home after I took everything out and made it into a big mess. The elders paid for everything. And tomorrow I have my first day of school.
