•Evie's POV•
Since my 18th birthday is coming up next week my best friends Sara and Nahjai surprised me with a trip to New York. I'm really excited but I think Sara only agreed to come only because her boyfriend Devin Gordon lives there but me and Nahjai have never meet or even seen a picture of him. Nahjai and I are the single ones in the group and we could care less. All I know is that me and Nahjai are sharing a hotel room while Sara is staying with Devin.
*In New York*
"So since we're in the Big Apple where do y'all want to go first" Sara asked me and Nahjai
"I really want to see the Statue of Liberty" Nahjai said excitedly
"Oh that's sound really interesting and maybe we could visit a mall of something" I said pushing my glasses up on my face somemore
"And maybe we could go to a club later on" Sara said as she started dancing weirdly but in a funny way
"I don't know maybe you and Nahjai can but I want to stay at the hotel and study for school" I said looking down at my blue Jordan's
"You sure Eve" Sara asked me
"Yeah I'm sure" I answered
"Okay so let's go enjoy your birthday weekend" Nahjai said hyping me up
"Yesss" I said happily
*at the hotel*
"Evie are you sure that you are okay with staying here tonight" Nahjia asked while putting not her shoes
"Yeah I'm sure. Y'all go ahead and have fun" I said while reading a book
"Okay I'll be back around 12 or 1 am and Sara is staying with her boyfriend. Call me if you need anything" Nahjia said hugging me
"Okay Bye NaNa" I said while closing the door
•Evie's thoughts•
I finally have time to read my books and time to edit my college essay. I'm gonna write it about music and how it helps me but first I'm gonna take a shower.
•Author's POV•
Evie runs to her suitcase and looks for some comfortable clothes and runs to her phone because she realized that she was hungry. When she got to her phone she called "Uncle Tony's Pizzeria" and ordered. When she finished her order she ran to the hotel bathroom and hooked her phone up to her blue Bluetooth speaker and started playing "Spare Time" by Eric Bellinger and hopped in the shower.

•Evie's POV• (again)
After about 25 minutes in the shower I remembered that I order a pizza and that the pizza delivery guy would be here, so I decided to get dressed. I had on black spandex shorts and oversized shirt on that was blue and purple and it said "I'm a geek". Just as I was about to put my hair in a bun there was a knock on the door. I went to my book bag and got the money Sara gave me to pay for the pizza. I went to the door and opened it and when I looked up I realized I couldn't really see good cause I didn't have my glasses on so I told the pizza to hold on while put my glasses on. I walked to my bed and found my glasses and walked to the door. Now I can see.

E: Yes this is
PG: Well I have a order for a umm...Evie?
E: That's me
PG: okay here is your large pepperoni pizza and that will be $12.57
E: thank you ummm....
PG: Kevin. My name's Kevin
E: Well thank you Kevin and here you go and keep the change
K: Okay Bye

Man that girl was mad cute. She looked so amazing with her glasses and her braces. I have got to get her number. She's to beautiful to let go. I'm going back up there.

Oh my goodness that boy was so fine. He look good asf with his waves and omg his eyebrow cut made my heart almost explode. I think I might have crush on the pizza guy. Oh my gosh I hope I see him again.
