Chapter 1: Tennessee

Lisa's POV

*Morning*

I woke up and turned to the middle of the bed. I opened my eyes and saw the cutest person ever sleeping...Luke. I touched his cheeks. He smiled and opened his sleepy eyes "Good morning, beautiful." Luke said. I smiled at him. "Good morning, handsome." I said back. "How did you sleep?" he asked, his voice is cute when it's raspy. He then rubbed my back gently "I slept well. You?" I asked back. "I did too." he said. We stared at each other's eyes for a while. "I love you." he said and then he kissed me. "I love you too." I said back. It then was starting to be more of a morning make-out session. "Mhm ok, we should probably get up now." I said, laughing at him. "No, I wanna stay here in bed with you all day." he said, sweetly. Why is he so dang adorable "Oh, Luke." I said, kissing him playfully.

After a few minutes more "Come on, get up!" I pulled him up. "Ok, fine." he said. "Let's get ready for the day." I said, while picking an outfit to wear for the today. "Lisa" he said. "What" I said turning to look at him. "You are the most beautiful woman ever." he said. "Aww Luke" He is just too cute. I couldn't resist him so I went over and kissed him again. "Haha you came over." he laughed. "Wow, okay you stay back in bed then." I said, and pushed him playfully back into the bed. I then started to use the bathroom to get ready for the day. I peaked a little through the door. Luke finally started to get up and make the bed. I love him so much.

It's been 4 years since Luke and I have been together and that is a long time. I moved to Nashville, Tennessee with my family a few years ago. It was a really big change moving from California to Tennessee. It took a while for us explore and get used to a new change but so far it has been great here and I love it. Luke graduated from Stanford and now has a degree in music and business but he still lives in California. He is working as a music producer but he's in the process of moving back to the east coast here to Tennessee with me. Right now, he's on his winter vacation break to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our families. Every year we would switch spending Christmas Day with one of our family then the following next day we would visit our other family for New Years. But this year it was Luke's turn to spend Christmas Day with my family and my turn to spend New Years with his. He came into town last night and got to catch up with some of my sisters.

I finally got out of the bathroom. Luke was going in and out brushing his teeth. "So, what's the plan for today?" he said, talking and brushing his teeth. "I'm not sure yet, I'm going downstairs to eat breakfast I'm hungry!" I said to him. "Alright, don't forget to save me one of Kath's famous pancakes for me!" he said, excitedly. "Of course, I know how much you love those pankcakes!" I laughed at him. He came out of the bathroom "You know me so well. But, not how much I love you." he said, smiled then kissed me. I smiled and kissed him back. "You're so sweet! Now hurry up and get ready! See you downstairs!" I said. "Okayy" he said, continuing to brush his teeth.

I went downstairs Kath is always in the kitchen. "Good morning, Kath!"I said, happily. She was cleaning up the kitchen then she looked up at me "Good morning, Lisa!" she said then continues to clean. Katherine has a boyfriend now his name is Max and I am happy that she is happy with him. I grabbed a plate one for me and one for Luke. Then I sat down at the table. Luke came down in time. "Good morning Kath!" he said, pleasantly. "Good morning, to you as well Luke!" she said, gleefully. He then joined me by the table. "Hey again, beautiful." he kissed my forehead and sat down started to eat. "Hmm, so good." Luke said, enjoying his breakfast. He took another bite "I miss these pancakes, Kath you have the best pancakes!" he said, then took another bite. "Aw thanks and I'm glad you're enjoying it!" Kath said and laughed.

*After breakfast*

Christina came downstairs. "Alright, guys let's talk about the plan for this week." she said continuing to come down the stairs. We all sat in the living room, I sat next to Luke and Amy on the couch. Christina stood in front of us "So, today we don't have much going on. So, you guys can do whatever you want." she said. "That's all?" Lauren said confused. "Great. I'm going now." Dani said about to stand up but Christina continued. "Wait, I'm not done. Christmas Eve is tomorrow so we're gonna be going to church and going to mom and dad's house to celebrate Christmas!" she said excitedly. "Yes, I can't wait!" Amy said happily.
