Long ago, in a kingdom, there was a young man named Dillion Ridley. He was a brunette with blue eyes. He always wore an expression of boredom and laziness. However, he was a very thoughtful and helpful person around his home and town.

His mother married an alchemist who did not work for the king. This alchemist stayed at home, mostly working with plants and minerals. Most of his experiments failed, and if the experimentation succeeded, it turned out horribly.

They were the most unfortunate family in the kingdom. This made Dillion want to strive for greatness. He worked hard to have a better life than he would have. This life made him have the dream to become king.

------------------

One day, when he was at the town market, he spotted a young woman. She looked about his age. She had beautiful brown hair and shiny hazel eyes.

Before he could walk up to her, she was snatched away by the guards of the palace saying, "Princess Aryana! What are you doing out of the palace?! Let us take you back to the palace where you would be safe from all of these peasants."

That word struck a chord in Dillion's brain. He did not like that word, not one little bit. He was bound and determined to see her again. He wanted to know her thoughts of the citizens of the kingdom.

That night, he snuck out of his room through the window on the wall next to his bed. As he reaches the castle wall, knowing that they were closed, he looked for another way to get in.

As he walked along the castle wall, he saw the young girl again. His eyes sparkled with delight when he saw. He stood there and thought, "Damn, she is beautiful. Even more beautiful than the sunset on a summer evening. More beautiful than a full moon. More beautiful than..." His train of thought was slowly interrupted by his realization that she noticed his presence.

"Who are you? What are you doing here, especially this late at night?" The girl asked.

He responded, "I saw you at the town market today while I was looking for milk and eggs. Then I saw the guards take you away, saying that you are the princess, and you should not be near the peasants."

"Oh, so you were that boy that I saw. I am sorry that you heard that. The guards get those ideas from my father. I really do love going to the town market. I love meeting the people and listening to their stories, but I usually get caught out of the castle and thrown back into the walls." The female said.

Dillion knew that she was a wonderful person, just by hearing those words that night.

----------

Many nights after, the two started to get to know each other more and eventually became lovers. Almost every night, they ended up kissing under the moonlight of the tree branches. Although they both wanted to take it to the next level, they both knew that their parents would realize what the two had done and never be able to see each other again.

Then something terrible happened. Aryana's father, the king, became very sick. The king had already arranged a marriage for his daughter, but he told her this, "My wonderful baby girl. You know very well that you are the heir to this throne of mine. I already know that my death is coming near, and I want you to know this. Even though I set up an arranged marriage for you, I want it to be your choice in who you marry. Just don't make the same mistake I did. Marry the person you love and that who loves you back. I love you, my precious daughter, Aryana. Never forget that..."

Those were the king's last words that night. The whole kingdom felt the depression of the princess that morning when she found out that her father had died. But, she had remembered her father's words. She decided to marry her true love, Dillion.
