Chapter 3: Escape From Helgen

Start from the beginning

I don't know why, but I felt angered by this. I felt as though he looking for someone. Maybe to challenge someone? Though I think that if his FUCKING WING WASN'T IN FRONT OF ME!

Hadvar: Hey, are you okay prisoner?

Dovahkiin: Y-yeah everything i-is just f-fine.

Hadvar: Are you sure?

Dovahkiin: LETS JUST KEEP RUNNING.

We continued to run through Helgen through the burning houses a cries of despair. I actually saw some people being burned until nothing but a charred, blackened corpse remained. Eventually, we encountered Ralof once again and announced that they were escaping. I decided to follow Ralof since he's probably the closest friend I have here in Skyrim.

Ralof: Finally, we're inside. OH NO!

Ralof then ran to the body of a fallen Stormcloak soldier.

Ralof: GUNJAR! They got to you. We will meet again in Sovngarde my friend

Dovahkiin: I'm sorry for your loss.

Ralof: It's fine, we'll see each other in Sovngarde. Now lets get those binds off you.

Ralof then pulled out an iron dagger to cut the ropes that kept my hands together. Finally, my hands are free and my wrist are so damn sore.

Dovahkiin: Wait, why didn't you just cut the ropes while we were inside the tower?

Ralof: I didn't have a dagger with me at the time. You should get out of those rags now. You can use Gunjar's gear, he won't be needing it.

Dovahkiin: If you say so.

I took Gunjar's gear and equipped it. It was just standard Stormcloak armor along with a Steel Axe as a weapon. I tried swinging it around to try to get used to it's feel.

Ralof: What's wrong? Not much of an axe guy?

Dovahkiin: Nope, I prefer to use swords, but I can also use axes and maces. One more thing Ralof.

Ralof: What is it?

Dovahkiin: This might sound crazy to you, but tell me; what is Sovngarde? I've heard of its name, but not what it is.

Ralof: You don't know what Sovngarde is?!

Dovahkiin: I wasn't raised in Skyrim. My parents told me about it, but I never got a real explanation.

Ralof: Do you know how every race in Tamriel has their own form of afterlife? Like how the Dark Elves worship Azura, the Daedric Prince of Dusk and Dawn. Their afterlife is in her plane of Oblivion known as Moonshadow. Sovngarde is a realm in Aetherius created by Shor who is the embodiment of the afterlife of Sovngarde. You get to Sovngarde by dying in battle and it doesn't matter what you did in life as long as you're worthy.

Dovahkiin: That's interesting. I wonder if I'll ever go there.

Ralof: Well if you're ever looking for a worthy co-

Imperial Captain: HURRY UP! WE DON'T HAVE ALL DAY.

Ralof: They're coming! We must hide.

Dovahkiin: No, you hide. I have a score to settle with her.

Ralof: What are you going to do?

I then took the chair from a small table and sat down in it. I also rested my axe against the chair.

Dovahkiin: Wait

I just sat their looking at the floor and listen to the sounds of footsteps coming. They got closer until I heard them stop. I looked up to see that Imperial bitch with two other guards with her. She did seemed so angry to see me.
