God's POV

So, my ineffable plan was no longer ineffable, and Armageddon had come and gone, or rather, not happened at all. This all thanks to the Angel, Aziraphale, and the demon Crowley, who somehow got it in their heads that saving the earth from War, Famine, Pollution and Death was suddenly a better idea than killing everyone just to see if they were in heaven or hell.

I mean, who in their right minds would do that?

Well, it's done, and instead of getting all the judgment over in a day, I have to go back to the usual; only deciding the fate of those deceased.

Now, let's have a look at what Aziraphale and Crowley are up to. Ah yes, they're on their way back from heaven and hell respectively (or was it the other way round?) and have met in the park.

So I guess I should shut up, and let your author tell the rest. After all, I have people to judge. See you soon (or rather later, if you must insist on living longer).

Ta-ta!

3rd person POV

"Cheers," Aziraphale said, raising his glass of champagne and grinning at his demon friend.

Crowley winked at him and met Aziraphale's glass with his own. "To the rest of our lives." In a gulp, he finished his drink, and wiped his mouth on his sleeve.

"You know, to do what we just did, you must have at least a bit of good in you," Aziraphale stated, pondering the events of the last week.

Crowley rolled his eyes, but didn't deny it. "And you must be made of at least ten percent bastard."

Aziraphale chuckled softly, a sound so welcome and appreciated to Crowley's ears.

They were dining at the Ritz, the finest alcoholic beverages at their disposal. After 6000 years of living with one thing in mind, how they had to assist the end of the world, it was quite nice to be able to do what they wanted.

"Are your lot even allowed to drink?" Crowley mused, gesturing to the third flute of champagne that Aziraphale was pouring himself.

"Of course not, silly. But I am still obeying the rules."

"How so?"

"Well, we're not on sides any more, dear. We're on our own side. You and I, Crowley and Aziraphale!"

Crowley cringed. "Angel, at least put our names in alphabetical order. Aziraphale and Crowley... Actually it doesn't work, never mind. I was clearly destined to be first."

"Screw you," Aziraphale pouted.

Crowley's eyes widened. "Did you just- did you... Did you say... Oh Hell of Hells! He said a bad word! My angel said a bad word! Arrest him!"

"Who said I was 'your angel'? I'm no one's but my own, thank you very much," Aziraphale stuck out his tongue.

"I... You're my angel cause I said so." Crowley wondered why he continued to argue. It wasn't a topic on which he wanted his opinion to he known. At least not to Aziraphale.

"Oh okay, that's how it is? So then, you must be my demon, right?"

Crowley mumbled something inaudible. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say. Come on, let me take you home, it's getting late."

Aziraphale laughed, "Does Crowley Wowley have a curfew? Did daddy say he wanted his baby home before dark? Awww." He reached out his hands and pinched his demon's cheeks.

Crowley shied away from his grip, "I don't have a daddy," he whispered softly. "I am the daddy."

Aziraphale raised an eyebrow. "You are? Oh yes... You delivered the Antichrist, little Adam. Sorry dear, but that doesn't make you his dad."

"I know," Crowley said, desperate to change the subject and unsure what was getting into him. Since when did he say things like that to his best friend? "C'mon, let's go."

"Fine," Aziraphale sighed.

They paid for the bill, and walked outside and along the street to where Crowley's car was parked. The shiny black Bentley, which had been wrecked less than twenty four hours ago, was waiting, fully intact, beside the pavement.

Crowley turned on the engine, and the car's tape player burst into life.

"... BEELZEBUB HAS THE DEVIL PUT ASIDE FOR ME....FOR ME...FOR MEEEEEEE!" It bellowed.

Aziraphale clasped his hands to his ears. "Turn that down, would you!"

Crowley have him a sly smile, and turned his favourite Queen song onto full blast.

"In your dreams buddy," he laughed.

Aziraphale scowled, but though he knew he could easily turn the music off with his angel powers, there was something so pure about seeing a demon singing along to rock while speeding along the highway. Especially one of Crowley's appearance. So he just sat back and listened to Freddie Mercury sing.

When they reached Soho, their way was blocked by a good lot of traffic.

"What's this?" Crowley frowned. "A repeat of yesterday? More highways on fire?"

"No dear,"Aziraphale have him a look. "It's the regular traffic for his time of day."

"I'm not putting up with this," Crowley said flatly, and with that he pulled into a side road and started to drive in another direction.

"Hey!" Aziraphale exclaimed, panicking. "You're going in the wrong direction, my bookshop is back further long the main road!"

Crowley kept his eyes on the road. "Yeah, I know where your shop is. But there's no way in heaven that I'm sitting in that traffic for you."

"So where are we going?"

Crowley looked straight into Aziraphale's eyes and said, "I'm taking you home with me. You can stay in my apartment tonight."
