EVELYN BROOKS was a twenty-three year old woman living in new york with her best friend monica. along with monica she lived in new york with her other friends phoebe, ross, chandler, and joey. evelyn started off living in the city of philadelphia until she was about 19 and decided to move to new york. evelyn happened to find out that monica had a spare room and moved in as soon as she could. through monica, evelyn made all of her friends, and she got especially close to phoebe since she lived in the room right next to hers. eventually phoebe moved in with her grandmother because she got sick of monica and evelyn and phoebe's bond began to fade. evelyn got close to chandler since he lived right across the hall, but chandler had a weird roommate that evelyn never really to got to talk to because he rarely even spoke, but eventually he moved out. soon chandler had a very handsome italian guy, which evelyn soon learned was named joey, move in. evelyn and joey clicked immediately–maybe even a little too much. all of this background takes you to the beginning of the friends story that truly began on september 22nd 1994.
