"You know the family reunion is coming up and I want you there along with this boy you hiding from me." She said I laughed. "Ain't no telling what else you hiding." She added and it was long pause before I replied.
"When is the umm...the family reunion." I said scratching my head.
"Next month on the 12th." She said I let out a sigh of frustration.
That's the day of my doctors appointment and the day of Christian's family reunion. We're gonna be on a tight schedule on that day.
"Ok." I said trying to wrap this conversation up.
"I love you luv bug." She said and I giggled.
"I love you too ma." I said before hanging up.
I went to my contacts and called Christian back. "Hello." I said over my yawn.
"Whatchu' doing?" He asked yawning too.
"Nothing watching tv. I just got off the phone with my mom." I said and he did a double take.
"What she talking about?" He asked and I bit my lip nervously.
"She told me about my family reunion and how she want me aND you there." I said and he nodded.
"When is it?" He asked sitting up.
"The 12th." I said and he let out a sigh. "We sure do got a lot going on that day." He said and I nodded in agreement.
"I don't wanna get fat." I said out of nowhere.
"Girl what?" He asked laughing.
"I'm going to blow up like a balloon." I said now staring the bathroom mirror.
"You gon' be alright." He said because he's not the one about to carry another person.
"I'm about to go to sleep." I said turning off the bathroom light.
"Goodnight. I love you." He said and I smiled.
"I love you too." I said before hanging up.
I jumped in the bed and pulled the covers over my body.
