"I'm 22." I said drinking from my water bottle. I felt myself getting nauseous.

"Whew chile', you're young. Very young." She said and I nodded.

"Yeah." I said nodding with a slight chuckle.

"Where do you work?" She asked pulling up a seat to the kitchen island.

"I'm a Nurse at Carolina Cross." I said before I yawned.

"Mhm. Do you know he have a child?" She asked looking at Cj.

"Yes, I'm aware." I said looking down at my phone.

"You know a lot comes with that. Especially dealing with his baby mother." She said making me look at Cj.

He never really told me about Messiah's mom. I mean I heard some of their conversations but those just consist of her yelling and him hanging up.

I just laughed it off. "Well I'll love to see you at our upcoming family reunion." She said and I nodded.

"When is that?" Christian asked. I looked down at my manicured hands.

"Next month on the 12th." She said and I looked at Cj.

That's the day of my doctors appointment but it's early kinda so I think we should be able to make it.

"Ok." He said and I nodded.

Me and his mom continued to talk. She just asked me basic questions about my life and what not. I actually like his mom but she most definitely is a handful. I guess I'll have to get use to it because I'm going to be around for a long time.
