lint-lined pockets
and cobwebbing contemplations.

goldfish,

a fragment of your own reflection
or a fragment of mine
something true
something duplicitous

for a brief visit
rummaging through my mail
tossing invitations to move on
behind the couch
crumpled
paper
or maybe just the folds.
(I'm happier with this; it's still subject to change)
