"I didn't." Aryan screamed.

"You did." Rithanya retorted.

"Enough or else I won't help you." I declared and they were quiet immediately. My kids know my temper. Riddhant is the cool parent which makes me a strict parent.

Again, Riddhant!
Seriously! Can I even stop thinking about him?

I got up and looked at my mother, apologetically. She nodded in understanding. "It's okay."

I bobbed my head.

"Let's go." I said and they took my hand and dragged me to their room.

The room was pretty much messy and Rithanya was right. Aryan had indeed spilled the paint on the carpet. I hope the stain comes off.

I looked at Aryan.
He is so much like his father.
He isn't here, that means -- I grunted at the thought of him and the waitress.

Will he really go there again?

Stop it, Aaradhya.
I mentally scolded myself before my daughter nudged me

"Why didn't you ask Adi masi to help?" I asked, knowing that Aditi is the best artist in our family. She is what my kids call her. FUN MASI!

"Adi masi is busy with baby Chaitya. She doesn't have time for us.. She is not a fun masi anymore." My son spoke before Rithanya suddenly interrupted him.

"Aryan, Baby Chaitya is small and he needs his mom so we can't ask Adi masi to leave her baby and be a fun masi for us all the time."

I smiled at her words. She's all grown up and matured now.

"Like Chaitya, you have your mother to help you so let us get started." I said and kissed my son's plump cheeks. He nodded and we started to paint.

It was only eight at night when we were done with the banner completely.

Finally, It came out pretty well and my two little angels loved it.

I ordered room service for the kids as they were quite tired to join everyone else for the dinner.

I notified everyone on the WhatsApp group about our absence at the dinner table.

I wasn't in a mood to eat especially after my tiff with Riddhant. I don't like it when he's not around.

I didn't even know where the hell was he. I've been here since six hours but he didn't come to the room nor did he leave any message.

What if he is actually with that girl? He must be having a gala time there while I'm sulking here.

I dismissed the mental picture of them laughing together, flirting, and holding hands. The last one was too much to take.

I strolled out before making sure that the kids have slept.

As I trudged forward, I heard footsteps behind me and suddenly, everything turned black.

I panicked as someone blindfolded me.

Am I being kidnapped?

"Don't worry, it's me." I calmed down when he draped his arms around my waist.

His lips touched my ears. I eased in comfort.

"Riddhant, what are you doing?" I turned around.

"Shush. Keep quiet. It's a surprise for you. Let's go." He scooped me in his arms and I squealed.

"Don't make any noises. You'll wake up everybody." He admonished. I mashed my lips.

He was confusing me.
