Ch.4 The Rumors

A bolt of blue light hit the window making a human-sized door out of glass opened from the window it was amazing how the water stayed in place and not coming into the room flooding everything they were astonished how everything just stayed in place except for a fish that came out of nowhere hit Yn in the face as Merula and Rowan laughed their laughter become as two more fish came hitting them as well

Yn:Not so funny now huh, so how are we going to breathe underwater

Merula:Using the bubble-head charm(takes out wand)follow my movement

Rowan:Wait what about the Gaint Squid

Merula:That's just a myth made by Gryffindor to scare first-year Slytherin's

Yn did exactly what Merula did copying the same motion and movement activating the charm making an enormous bubble appeared around their head it had oddly looking features that were wide and stretched they entered the water leaving Rowan to keep watch in case something bad happened as they got further away from his line of view now it was for them to get to the surface but that would prove to be quite difficult for them mainly Yn for he/she had a fear of water to be exact its what's in the water and know with the knowledge of there being a giant squid so it was no surprise that he/she felt calm when he/she held Merula's hand they were almost with the surface until Merula was pulled down by a tentacle that began to wrap around her leg profusely applying more pressure to it Yn was scared as they stood in the same place under the water he/she was snap out of her trance when another tentacle at him/her. He/She was able to take out and cast bombarda on the tentacle that was aimed at them which made it back off for the moment Yn took this opportunity to go grab Merula lucky her bubble was still intact but she still had the tentacle wrapped around her leg as an arm had her wand so she was pretty defenseless Yn casted the same spell making the tentacle let go of her leg and wand Yn grab her hand ones more and they both swam to the surface away from the squid gasped for the bubble burst but it didn't matter they were already in the surface wet and covered in mucus and blood Yn realized that there was blood on him/her checking to see if it was their own but found no marks of injuries the only other person was Merula.

Yn:Merula show me your leg

To their suspicions the blood was Merula's the tentacle that wrapped around her left deep gashes when she was struggling to make it let go of her the gashes were circular and deep

Yn:Try moving your leg

Merula tried but it just sent waves of pain they didn't know any healing spells or have any healing potions what so ever he/she had to improvise he/she got water from the lake and cleaned the remaining blood on her leg and lifted her up

Yn:Can you walk

Merula:Yea let's go meet up with Harry

They were not far from Hagrids Hut and Harry was yet to come they would have run to the Hut but with Merula legs damaged she would not get far as every step she took it would be filled with pain and her normal confident walk was replaced with a limp

Yn:You know that's gonna leave a scar

Merula:One of many Yn scars that we'll collect in Hogwart 

Yn joked through the whole way trying to lighten the mood

Merula was injured and there was no way we were getting away with this we arrived at Hagrids Hut I knocked to see Hagrid with joy I had in my face he led us inside to tend to Merula's wound that was when Harry and Ron come inside the Hut seeing us Me in a towel and Merula in a chair
