The music filled the room, the girls around me were singing and dancing around the room, I watched as they moved around, I admit they were flawed in some places of their dances but that hardly mattered cause these crazy people were my friends.
A faint knock on the door caused my brown-haired friend to stop dancing and go over to the door, her curled hair bounced as she bounded over, she opened the door and was greeted by her mum, she had a soft smile painted on her olive-skinned face, her blue eyes glittered in the light as she peered into the room.
"How deaf are you girls?" she asked, a low laugh suppressed in her throat, she stepped into the room and set a silver tray of food that I only just noticed she was holding down on the low wooden table that was placed in my friends' room just for tonight, on her way out she turned the stereo down, she turned her head to her daughter, "the music level stays like this, okay hun?" Stella nodded her head and her mum closed the door for us.
"We should go out somewhere," Neomi suggested as she threw a cheese cube into her mouth.
"But where would we go?" Marie was laying on Stella's bed, then sat up as Neomi suggested her idea.
"We could go to the graveyard for a bit and then go down to that abandoned hotel," I scoffed slightly at the thought.
"Going to a supposedly haunted place and an abandoned place at night, sure, totally doesn't seem like a scene from a supernatural movie at all." Stella looked at me then looked over at the other two girls.
"We're doing it," Marie hopped off the bed while I jumped off the semi-high windowsill, we all made our way downstairs.
"Where are you girls going?" we turned towards Stella's mum who had her arms crossed over her chest, her eyebrow raised as Stella mentioned our plan, "just be careful and don't stay out there too long," we all made our way out the door and walked down the street, the street lights were the only kind of light we had at the moment, apart from our phones but we planned on saving those for the abandoned hotel.
The icy wind blew against our faces and through our hair, the three girls infront of me were talking about different kinds of things we could do like apparently we could probably summon a demon, I was more focused on actually not getting murdered by a ghost at the graveyard, can you get murdered by a ghost?
Our footsteps echoed against the footpath as we walked in a group, we made our way to the graveyard, the streetlights lit up the entrance but you could see if you kept walking it got darker and darker, we stared at the entrance for the bit then decided to just investigate the abandoned hotel instead.
The building infront of us was a hotel, from what I could see the paint was peeling away from the wooden building, as I looked up I could see the windows were shattered, some of them had tape over them, we stepped inside and were greeted by the reception area, on the white concrete walls there were paintings almost hanging off their hooks, there was paper scattered across the torn up wooden floor almost like someone had been in here before and trashed the place, not that it wasn't trashed up before it but it made it look even worse.
I pulled out my phone as I walked towards down the hallway of the hotel, the wooden flooring creaked and groaned underneath my footsteps, the doors to the rooms were all closed, I noticed some of them had claw marks and scratches across them, my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach as I heard a door creak open then stop, very slowly I walked over towards the door that opened, I peaked my head through the doorway and was greeted by a peer of glowing green eyes.
The pair of green eyes let out a low throaty growl, almost like the growl of a wolf; it moved closer to me as my heart rate picked up and I bolted towards the entrance, the girls looked at me with confused expressions on their faces.
"We have to go," was all I could say, they looked behind them and saw the pair of glowing eyes, we all sprinted outside them stopped by the graveyard, we were greeted by more pairs of growling, glowing green eyes.
A black wolf with streaks of grey throughout his fur stepped closer to us, the other wolves turned into a chorus of growls as he did so, the girls behind me were frozen in spot, I stared at the furry black and grey wolf, his lips curled back into a snarl, baring his teeth, his hackles were raised and his tail was raised up and still, he was ready for an attack.
My eyes made contact with the glowing pair of eyes, he stared back at me the fear bubbling through my blood completely disappeared, my own pair of green eyes narrowed as I glared at the wolf, my body stood straight up a new kind of emotion washed over me like a wave, a loud throaty sound erupted from my throat, the wolf blinked in surprise, the sound kept erupting from my throat getting louder and louder, the black wolves tail tucked between his hind legs and whimpered, all the other wolves lowered their heads and bowed down, I frowned in confusion, they all stood back up and turned around, running off in a sea of black, grey, white and red fur.
Turning around I faced my friends, or what I thought would have been my friends, as I turned around I noticed that they weren't there instead I was greeted by a tall man, his muscular frame towered over me and the street lights shined on his bald head, his light brown eyes held a glow of evil amongst them.
"That was quite impressive, young lady," his low voice waved over my body, the power that was running through my veins was easily replaced with that sense of fear that I felt when I was greeted with the pack of wolves, "I'm sorry that your friends had to leave, but they simply couldn't see what you were doing to those wolves just then," the confusion painted my face once again, his hand reached out and touched my head, it felt like my body was being drained, I stared at the man fighting to stay concise, but I mentally wasn't strong enough to do so, I collapsed into someone's arms and blacked out.
