Chapter One ~ Berlin

Goal: Eliminate the final Nazi laboratory

The hovercraft's propellers whirred as it flew low over the ocean, pushing apart the water below. The sky a mix of a fiery orange and cold blue shrouded everything and the skyline of Berlin's tallest towers could be seen pointing towards the sky above. Inside the carrier were three soldiers, the elite of the S.A.S. There was Captain Josh Hutch, 28 years old and had no regrets joining the army ten years ago on this very day. Ryan Gosling was another soldier who sat next to the Captain, he was the tactical director of this three man squad who had everyone apart from his brother killed during WW3. Last but not least is Luke Williams who specializes in heavy artillery and is the brute force of this small squad.

Together these three make the best of what the S.A.S has to offer.

Today their mission was simple, they were going to destroy the last of the Nazi laboratories. They had a location, it was within the Reichstag building.

This building never got used anymore, the Nazis bought it and used it as their private laboratory thinking no one would find it but here they are. There were two entrances into the building, the front door and the back door. They wouldn't just be able to stroll in so they have to find another way in.

"Do we have any ideas on how to enter the building?" Hutch asked and looked around.

"We could repel down from the top dome and work it out from there," Luke suggested.

"We have 25% of a plan, we can't just make it up as we go along," Hutch said and turned to Ryan

"Use Luke's idea, then I'll deploy a recon drone and we can find an entrance to the main lab, below our way in and kick some ass along the way," Ryan explained.

"That's what base suggested so hopefully this'll work otherwise none of us are going back," Hutch said and prepared to land the hovercraft.

Hutch's voice crackled over the radio to the command tower which directed any aircraft to hangar bays. It was a giant complex with thousands of bays that had mechanics on board to repair or it was used to smuggle things in or out of the country and or occasionally to help other countries perform tasks like this one.

The radio commands voice crackled back at Hutch and they were allowed access. As they flew over hundreds of other hovercrafts, cars and ships passed by at great speeds.

"Alright boys once we land conceal our weapons and head towards the Reichstag, it's about 35 minutes away," Hutch commanded.

As Hutch brought them down, the landing gear slowly made it's way out whirring on the electronic arms. The propellers on each side started to fold away and the hovercraft hit the ground making everything inside shake. They were using a lower down vehicle because if they used a military grade vehicle then they would be noticed and everything would be for nothing.

"Luke, maybe use the light deflector on your gun there because it is quite obvious," Ryan said and put his rifle on his back and covered it up with a cover that went around his head and draped down his back.

"Can we not get a vehicle to hide us and our weapons?" Luke asked.

"It would be easier sir," Ryan said to Hutch he thought about it.

"I'll speak to someone," Hutch said and went over to a desk.

They spoke German for a few minutes before Hutch turned around and signalled for them to come over.

"They have let us rent a van for the day," Hutch confirmed.

"Thank you," Ryan told the man at the desk.

The three of them headed over to the front of the hangar and outside waited a van. It was just a regular van so it would hide them well.

"Who can drive?" Luke asked.

"I'll drive guys you two wait in the back," Hutch said and opened the door, getting in.

He pushed the start button and the engine roared to life, the headlights opened up and two beams of light ripped through the darkness. Luke and Ryan got in the back and Hutch pushed down on the acceleration.
