The losers kitty (patrick hockstetter)

ch.2

Kitty pov:

Kj picks me up and drops me off at home so he can go back to work. He works a lot but he leaves me notes of directions and sends me text and calls me to make sure I'm taken care of. I go and get the apple slices from the fridge and go to my room for homework.

Later on, the losers come by to pick me up and we go to the barrens.

Stans looking at all the plants and tells us which is poison ivy.

I'm about to go in the water when Eddie pulls me back. I frown and pull my earbuds out in time to hear him call it greywater. And it's filled with Derry pee. I scrunch my nose up and take a few steps back.

"It doesn't smell like caca to me señor."Was Richie's response making me giggle I pull out my pacifier and put it in my mouth.

"Okay, I can smell that from here."

Here we go, Eddie, and Richie are fighting again.

"It's probably just your breath wafting back into your face."
I roll my eyes and tune back out going back to my music.

Richie throws something at Eddie making me back up more from disgust and fear of it landing on me.

A few minutes later a kid falls into the water, and we can hear footsteps coming after.

"It's Patrick." The kid stutters out.

"You guys go I'll distract him." I speak up.

"A-a-re you-u sure?" Bill stuttered. And I nodded they left helping the kid. And a few minutes after they left Patrick comes out of the woods.

"Patrick!" I cheered with my Paci still in my mouth.

His head snapped to me, and he smiles." What are you doing out here?" He asks picking me up once I rose my arms up.

I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. "I wanted to go explore but I got lost." I say with a frown. Which makes him frown in response, it soon turns into a smile. " I'll help you. Come on the gangs waiting on me." Patty says and walks off carrying me in his arms.

I smiled and went to kiss him on the cheek forgetting my Paci was in my mouth making me frown and him laugh. And he started walking to God knows where to get out of the woods.

We finally get to a road, and I see the rest of the bowers gang there and wave.
Henry walks up to us with a smile when he sees me and strokes my cheek.

"Where's the losers?" He asked Patrick but keeps his eyes on me with a smile.

"I lost them but found something better." Patrick said smiling down at me. I blush and stick my head in his neck making them all chuckle.

"All right you want to come with us kitty?" Henry asked and I nodded.

Everyone gets in and Patrick sits me on his lap wrapping his arms around me.

The boys are talking and I'm listening to music when my phone starts to ring. Patrick pulls it out and gives it to me. I smile seeing it's my brother and answer.

"Kj! Are you home already? I can't wait for movie night." I say excited.

"Umm... About that listen kitty you're going to stay at Tracey's (Tracey is going to be Patrick's mom since Idk her name.) For a week maybe even a few my hours are all over the place and I won't be able to take care of you. Alright and I'm sorry about movie night. Ok? When I get work, all situated, we'll have a movie night alright."

I didn't answer. He promised. He already canceled the last 2 movie nights. He's a liar. I let the tears travel down my face.

"Kitty? You there?"

"You're a liar." I tell him quietly.

"What kitty no. I pro-"

"You promise movie night and you canceled again. I don't like you anymore." I hang up and Patrick wraps his arms around me, holding me to him. He Rocks me back and forth as he shushes and coos to me calming me down.

A phone starts ringing, and Patrick moves a bit before settling.

"Hello?"
"Ya"
"Ok"

Patrick ends the call.

"Stop by Kitty's house we gotta pack her bag. She'll be staying with me."

"Alright" belch said turning the car to the road to my house.
