It has been a month since the terrifying fire occurred. Life has been gradually getting better for the two. Tyler is now home and is still getting the rest he needs. Unfortunately, Josh is still living at his home with his parents. He however spends most of his time at the Joseph's home!
Tyler and Josh had been sitting on younger of the two's bed, silently watching the rain. It was not an awkward silence. They both found it extremely peacefully, without having to say it. Tyler looked at the pink-red-orange boy next to him a let a slight grin show.
"The rain," Tyler says.
Josh nods, slowly.
It's like..." Tyler pauses, searching for the word.
"Crisper," Josh says.
"Exactly," Tyler says, nodding.
The boys then shared a glance, of course knowing them, neither could keep a straight face for even the slightest of time. They bursted out laughing, both enjoying the warm feeling in the air.
"Josh?" Tyler asks.
"Yes?"
"I uh, I think everything will be okay."
"Me too Ty."
"I love you."
"I love you
too."
