Chapter 2. Searching

    I woke up, not to the screaming that normally comes from my sister but to the unnerving silence that pierced through the air. I started walking to my bedroom door when I noticed that everything looked different and awkwardly dislocated, in a way. I didn't know if that was my imagination or not but I just went into the living room where my mom and sister was sitting already waiting to leave. They all had very blank expressions on their faces.
   I walked over and I looked at them, I was shocked by the sight, their eyes pupils in their eyes were almost melted and black, and they looked beaten up. I had no idea what to do, I was just horrified and I couldn't move at the sight. I looked up just above peeping over the couch with just her eyes, was my friend laylah I was wondering what she was doing here and then she just said "hey." I said "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?" And she just looked at me all crazy.
  I think I saw my sister and my mom move, but I don't think they did. Laylah just said, "Are you ok? You don't seem to well."
I had nothing else going on in my head except that she killed my sister and my parents and she just acts like she didn't. I yelled back,"WHY WOULD YOU MURDER MY FAMILY!?" And Laylah said,"what the fuck are you talking about there not even in here they left to go to the store 2 hours ago." Then I saw her start to walk my way I stared to walk back, and she just said,"It's ok it will be over soon."
   I just kept walking back wondering why she would ever do this and then she jumped at me, stabbing me with a knife in the arm I went to go grab it but she pinned me against the wall. I couldn't move, I didn't know she was this strong, I tryed to move I couldn't. And then, everything went back to normal, Laylah still in front of me with a syringe, Hayley, and hunter holding me down, these were the last things I saw before my vision faded...
