"Bullshit," he whispered.
"I am. I really am," I said, "I'm staying."
"I can't believe it!" He exclaimed, picking me up again and spinning me.
"Well, I need to move back in," I said, shaking everything out.
"Same room," Brian said, leading Meredith to sit.
"Thanks," I said as Robert helped me. I left my bags on the floor and Robert sat across from me.
"I can't believe it," he said.
"Neither can I," I said.
"Well, on this topic, I have something to say. You know I'm going back to Australia next week," he said. I nodded, knowing these days would be some of our last together. "What you don't know is how long. I talked to all of our entire families and I'm only going to be there for two weeks. I'm moving back here."
"Wait, really?" I asked him.
"Really. Besides, time without you is pain."
"And time without Alex," I added. His face flushed.
"Yeah. Her too," Robert said.
"We're going to live together again. For a long time," I said. The thought hit him.
"You're stuck with me again!" He exclaimed, picking me up again.
"Stop picking me up," I told him, a little annoyed by the constant changes.
"You're right. You are taken."
"And you are basically my older brother," I said, jumping onto his back. We laughed.
"Well, how are you going to tell your boyfriend?" Robert asked.
"I'm not sure. He's probably stalking my location," I said.
"Well, in that case, I have somewhere to be so I'm leaving. Expect him bursting in sometime in the next five minutes," Robert said. He left after a quick kiss on the top of my head. Hungry, I wandered into the kitchen.
"He's coming in five under the pretense of a new idea," Meredith said. I grabbed an apple and washed it.
"Okay," I said.
"That's your reaction?" Brian asked.
"I'm freaking out inside, but I'm trying to stay calm," I added, finishing the apple fairly quickly.
"Well, go to your room. It's all be okay," Brian said. I nodded and went into my room. A minute later, I heard the door open and close. I grinned as I heard his voice again.
"What music?" Clark asked. I heard Brian curse.
"Damn it I forgot my script," Brian said, rifling through papers.
"I can go get it. Where is it?" Clark asked, eager to help.
"I left it in Luna's old room. You don't have to get it if you don't want."
"No, it's fine. We haven't broken anything yet. I still love her," Clark said. I grinned to myself.
"Thanks," Brian said. I heard footsteps before the door handle turned. There he would be. The door opened and Clark looked at me, stunned.
"Bullshit," he muttered, "Fucking bullshit. Why are you here?"
"I'm moving here," I said.
"No fucking way in hell," he said. A grin spread across his face as he picked me up. "I love you."
"I love you, too," I said, hugging him back.
"I can't believe it. This is real, right?" Clark asked. I nodded to confirm as I buried my face in his chest. He let me down and kissed my forehead. Brian was in the doorway.
