I wrote this story about 5 years ago and finished it. Always wondered how it was, hope to get some feedback! I know that I should do my other two stories, but I'm that person who moves to another story knowing that I haven't finished the others yet. Will try to post this story and have it completed before the end of August if not...get on my nerves and that will help me remember to post. Which is something other people don't like, I'd rather you readers do that so that I actually remember (lol). To the actual story we go!! Hope you vote and comment about my story, thanks! :) :) :)

The school bell had rung. Running through the hallways was a late student trying to avoid a late slip to detention if he was caught by the cranky guard duty lady. He ducked into another classroom as he spotted the lady looking his way, peaked his head out and apologized to the classroom he was in and ran off. Spotting his classroom, he ran in without thinking about how mad his teacher was going to get for being so loud and late to class.
The old and strict teacher, Mrs. Gum, was about to start class when a 18 year old boy ran into the classroom. The student had slammed the door wide open with a loud bang, thrown his bag onto the ground, and was panting loudly. He had bedhead and looked as if he was run over by a crowd of people. His tie was loose around his neck and his shirt was untucked. To his peers, this was a new trend that he was starting, but to Mrs. Gum, this was what a disordered person wore; as Mrs. Gum was very strict about school uniforms.
"Sorry I'm late, Mrs. Gum! Woke up late," he panted. He looked down and quickly grabbed his bag off the ground before she could yell at him for making a mess on her floors. Also quickly fixing his shirt and running his hand through his hair to get out the tangles.
"I'll let you go this time since it was your first tardy, Jimin, but don't let it happen again." Mrs. Gum said strictly. She turned back to the whiteboard and began to write the lesson.
Jimin nodded his head and went to take his seat next to a girl one year younger than him. The class was Algebra 2 with Trig, his least favorite subject. (I hate math so much! Does anyone like math and enjoy it?) He just simply struggled with math, just like half of his other classmates did. Mrs. Gum lectured and assigned them pages from the workbook. Jimin just stared at the pages, unsure of what to do. He knew that his teacher hated being asked questions right after her lesson, so wasn't sure what to do.
"Do you need help?" he heard a small voice next to him say. He looked at his classmate, who was already done as she did the work right after the lecture and was reading a book for another class. He nodded shyly, partially embarrassed because he couldn't understand how to do it. The girl helped teach him the material in a simpler way. Everyone liked Mia for being in their class because she helped them with the work, partly because their teacher hated questions about the assignments she given out. It made everyone wonder why Mrs. Gum taught and asked themselves, aren't we allowed to ask because she's supposed to help us learn since don't know how to do it?
"Thanks, Mia." He said softly. She nodded slightly to acknowledge him and turned back to her book before class ended. He managed to finish it with a few more questions before she left. The bell rang, signaling the end of class. It was now break time. She packed up her stuff and went into the hallway to meet her one and only friend, Minnie. Her friend, Minnie has been trying to get into the class, even though she was in Algebra 2.
"Mia!" she heard her friend yell across the other side of the hallway. She waved her hand wildly, ran between other students to Mia. Bumping into other girls, they shout at her for being so rude.
"Yeah, Minnie?" Mia turns to talk to her friend as she got to Mia's locker at one end of the halls.
"You're so lucky to, not only be in the same class, but be sitting next to Jimin too. I wish I were you," Minnie sighed with heart-eyes.
"You're crazy." Mia rolled her eyes, looking back into her locker to find her books for her next class. "You know Jimin doesn't like any of the girls here right? Rumors have it that he's got a girlfriend already."
"Maybe I am. But rumors are rumors, they aren't always true." The same boy walked past them. He waved at Mia and winked before walking away. Minnie stared with awe filled eyes.
Minnie turned her attention back to Mia and said, "We should go watch a movie this weekend. You know, if Jimin doesn't ask me out." She flipped her hair and twirls pieces around her finger.
"Okay, you're crazy." Mia fake laughs, she knows her friend is crushing so hard, it's hard not to see it. Also knowing that's it's almost at kidnapping the guy and keeping him in her room. Mia's been to her room, Minnie has stalker photos of him posted of her walls of her closet... (Looks like Minnie is little psycho... about her "crush" on Jimin)
"I love you too!" Minnie giggles along with her best friend. Minnie will do anything to be Jimin's friend at least or at least talk to him.

Jimin was walking to his apartment building, when he saw an older man struggling to carry his groceries. He offered his help and the man accepted.
"Where do you live?" Jimin asked. The man pointed at an apartment building a few blocks away. Jimin's eyes widened in surprise.
"Really? I live there too! Let's go." While they were walking, silence surrounded them. Jimin decided he would break what he thought was an awkward silence. (Little weird, don't you think? Why would he tell a stranger where he lives?)
"You don't look that old. Why were you struggling, Mr...?" Jimin wonders to the older man that he was helping.
