TAYLOR'S POV:

After hours of lying on the floor, my mom had decided to look for me. Of course she would start with the school, and that's when she saw me lying on the floor, helpless and bleeding. I heard her scream, I heard her shout. But I couldn't stand up. My legs had turned into jelly out of fear. Tears still silently rolled down my face, and the fresh smell of blood still lingered around me.

I heard sirens in the distance, coming to help me. But I didn't want help. I wanted to be left alone. To just slowly fade away.

Footsteps running towards me. No, no not again. A blanket had being put over me, but my bleeding arm was still sticking out for them to see. I saw one of the paramedics, dressed it those neon jackets with the snake around the pole on it. I watched him speak, but I couldn't hear him. It was like he was a faint murmur to be ignored. The voices in my head where shouting to loudly at me.

He flashed a light in my eyes, and then turned to my hand. Sizing up the cut, he started wrapping a bandage over it.

Taylor, make him stop. You don't want to be cured, You want to be harmed.

What? no. I carried on watching him enclosing a bandage around my arm. I could hear my mom screaming for me in the background. The paramedic who was wrapping the bandage around my arm had finished, he got up and heaved me up with him. He mouthed something to his colleague, or did he actually say it? I don't know. Then, he gently settled me down into a wheelchair.

Turning around and being wheeled by the other paramedic, I saw my mom. Her face was red and full of terror. I could see glistening tears stoke her cheeks and fall to the floor. Running towards me, my senses started to come back. And I heard her.

"TAYLOR! Who did this you! Tell me!" She stroked my hair out of my face.

You don't need to confide in her, confiding is weak.

I bowed my head and shook it. The paramedic wheeled me passed my mom, but she always stayed by my side.

ASTRID'S POV

Ryder and I were cuddling in our cell. My head was on her chest. I concentrated on her breathing while she ran her fingers slowly through my hair. We had shut the door, signalling for nobody to come and disturbed us.

"I never thought I would find anyone here"  Ryder told me.

"You did." I replied.

"Yeah, I got lucky." She giggled after that.

"Lucky? Ryder look where you are." She laughed harder.

"That's why its so funny." She calmed down and smiled at me stupidly.

I just rolled my eyes and went back to concentrating on her breathing.

An eruptive knock sounded on the door. We ignored it. Until it came again, but this time more urgent and louder. I got off Ryder and sat up on the edge of the bed. She sat up too.

"For fuck sake. This perso-" she stood up to go answer it, but the door was completely knocked off its hinges and she had to dodge it swiftly to not be crushed.

Six cops dressed in riot gear stormed into our room. Shouting at each to move. I was stunned and so was Ryder. Two grabbed her and kicked her legs so she fell on her knees. The two still standing at the door held up rifles towards her. The last pair had clambered their way to stand behind her and point the barrels of the rifles towards her back. One of the guards holding her had put on hand cuffs and some ankles cuffs as well.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" She spat at the two front guards.

None of them spoke, they just stood there looking at her. Until we heard a familiar voice of the warden.

"I assume you are aware of the magic disappearance of your twin, Robin Newman." he appeared in between the two front riot cops.

"Of course I'm aware you asshole." She said angrily.

"Good, because all directions of her being able to escape, point to you." He said smugly.

"Hey... She has nothing to do with this." I took a step forward but one of the behind police guards turned around sharply and stuck his gun in my face, making me back up.

"DON'T MOVE! STAY WHERE YOU ARE! HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" He shouted at me.

"DON'T TOUCH HER YOU DICKFACE!" Ryder struggled, and it half succeeded. One of the guards had let go of her arm in the struggle.

She whipped round to face me, to make sure I'm okay. But then all of a sudden, one of the front guards had pull out a teaser that must have been sitting on his belt. He shot it at Ryder.

Her whole body complused at the imapact. She was shaking and her head had flicked back. They let go of her and she fell to the floor, still tied up. I heard her trying to say the word help, but through the high volatge it just sounded like murmers. Then, she lay still.

I looked up at the guard who has shot at her and tried to run towards him. I wanted to strangle the life out of him. He needed to die for doing that to my Ryder. But two guards stood in front of me and pointed their rifles at me.

"You'll pay for that you shits." I said to them.

"Escort Newman One to solitary until she decided to speak. Oh, an take her roommate, and her things to the new cell she'll be staying in." The warden spoke up.

I heard Ryder's body being dragged off the floor and lifted by two of the riot guards. But I couldn't see her, the enforcement's where in my way.

Holy shit. Had Ryder actually helped her sister in escaping? No... Because she would've gone herself. Or maybe she stayed for something.

Ryder please, please stay out of trouble. Please be safe.
