It was the most terrifying experience. There wasn't any way to explain it. Sitting in the waiting room, fearing for your loved ones life. My foot tapped on the floor, my head engulfed in my hands as I cupped them around my tears, trying to rid of any sounds.

I just wanted him to be okay. If anything, just alive. He didn't have to be perfect, he just had to be there. Waiting or me when he woke up.

I had no idea how many hours it had been when one of the nurses pulled me into a secluded room. Her eyes showed worry, and it took her a moment before gathering the courage to tell me what had happened.

"He's ok. He's alive, everything seems to be going well. But there was something that was off."

She stopped, mid explanation. I was glad he was ok, but the news that she was about to bring was going to change my life completely.

"He doesn't remember anything. Only his name and a few other names. He didn't mention you."

My heart stopped. I could feel my stomach began to churn, my insides burning. No. This couldn't happen. I was always so unlucky, and the only thing I had in life was ripped right out of my arms.

"can... can I see him?"

Those were the only words I could muster up, holding my tears back. I was never a cryer, even if I was in the worst situation, I held myself together. But this was the worst feeling I'd ever experienced.

The nurse gave me a silent nod, exiting the room with me following behind her. I know my face was red and puffy, and my eyes were definitely glossed over by my tears. I entered the hospital room, the sounds of machines all around.

"Jimin?"

I approached the bed, noticing the black haired boy laying there, staring in the other direction. He slowly turned around, startled as he saw me.

I felt the nurses hand against my shoulder, trying to comfort me as Jimin stared straight through me. He didn't know who I was. He really had no idea.
