I woke up to the sound of birds singing and a slight ray of sunlight pointing across my room. Today is supposed to be big and long day.

I graduated from high-school about three month ago and today I am supposed to move away from my parents. From tomorrow I am supposed to live with my roommate, and begin my freshmen year in the best of the best Universities in Korea. To be more accurate, Seoul.

I already had everything packed and ready to go. I just had to dress up and my dad would help me with the moving part. We planned to start at 10a.m., and currently it's 9, So I probably have time to wash up..

After getting ready I went down and found my father making breakfast for both of us. After all the time passed he learned how to make it not only taste, but look delicious too.

While eating my dad was staring at me the whole time. I finally decided to speak up:

-Appa..? Is there anything wrong..? Are you okay?- I asked worryingly.

-No sweetie.. everything is just fine. It just makes me want to cry, when I see my girl grow up so fast. It feels like you learned how to walk just yesterday, and now you are leaving to another city. To the best University is Korea! I am very proud of you sweetheart.- the elderly man looks at me with the brightest smile he could give me, but I still see how hard he tries to hide his tears.

Now I was holding back my tears too.
-I am so so sorry Appa that I have to leave you all alone here. I will ask our neighbor, Mrs. Song, to look after you while I am gone. I promise you, I will visit you every holiday.- And now I sobbed, because none of us could hold back the tears anymore.

We hugged each other and were sitting like this for couple minutes.

Wiping his tears, he smiled and looked at me.

-Soyong, sweetie, I will not be alone, I will always have my farm with me . My cow Rose. She is with me. You don't have to worry about me.

- Fine, but I still will have someone to come and check on you every day.

-No problem. By the way, I think we should start moving. It's already 10:15..

-Okay

When all of my stuff was packed in the van that we rented, we both settled down the the car, and began our trip to Seoul.

The big city welcomed us with all the noises of the busy people. Everyone was in hurry. Those tall and huge buildings amazed me. This place is incredible!

The van stopped in front of a pretty tall and expensive looking building, where I was supposed to share an apartment with some other student.

I found my aunt and another elderly woman standing in front of that building to greet us.

I got out of the car to introduce myself to the woman and hug my aunt, which I haven't seen is couple years.

-Soyong-ssi! Hello my darling!-she (my aunt) hugged me tightly, and kissed me in both of my cheeks. She than pulled away and looked at me with amusement.

-Nari! Look how beautiful my niece is! She will totally suit your grandson!

-Oh yes she will!- the woman exclaimed.

-Annyoharaseyo, my name is Soyong.- I said with a slight smile.

-Oh my god, It's very nice to meet you, my name is Mrs.Chong. I am the owner of the apartment you are sharing with your roommate.

- Oh.. Great! It was very nice to meet you!  But I think I better start moving in, if you don't mind, of course..

-Sure, sure, darling. I don't want to hold you back.- Mrs. Chong said and left along with my aunt. Me and my dad got everything out of the van, and securities of the building offered us to pay ten won for them to bring everything to my new apartment, so we agreed. While securities were doing their job, me and my dad had to go different ways from now on.

This is really hard to let go to someone you love so much.

We hugged each other for couple minutes and than he left.

I decided to cheer myself up with the idea if new life and meeting new friend right now.

As soon as I walked in to my new apartment, I heard really loud music coming out from one of the rooms.

I knocked on the door, and the music suddenly a stopped, and a girl, precisely my age, peeked  out. She wasn't tall, she had messy hair collected in the bun. She looked at me with confusion and her eyes :

-What are you doing here? Who are u?– she asked.

-I'm your new roommate, my name is Soyong..- I smiled awkwardly.

-oh hey...My name is Hana, it's nice to meet you, Soyong- she smiled at me,  and came out of the room.- let me show you your room kitchen and the bathroom, and then you'll tell me your story , and.... I will tell you mine..

I looked at her with confusion. She just giggled.

-We have to be friends though – she smiled awkwardly. Well, she is right we have a lot of  time to spend together, and we better be friends, otherwise it will be awkward.

-Don't worry, I understand, it will be better if we know each other well – I smiled at her.

– All right then, let me start my tour on the apartment-we both laughed.

When she was done showing me the apartment, we went to our rooms to get ready since we decided that we should have the talk at the cafe.

-So, I came from Busan, I lived there for almost my entire life, I had my friends there, I had a caring brother, and I still have them...-Hana giggled on her own words, and I just smiled.

Hana is a very nice girl. She doesn't seem as a fake kind of friend. She actually seems as a very caring person even though she might be a little bit rude, as she said. But thankfully, she was not rude to me, because she said that I didn't seem like I was the bitchy kind, but more of a nice kind of person.

-Then I realized I want to be something more , and I decided that I want to go to this university. Actually I think you will like Seoul.-She continued.

-I do like it here already. – I smiled and we both laughed.

After I told her my story without really hiding anything. (except for some parts which I don't like to admit myself). We decided to go back to our apartment, and go to bed early since it's gonna be our first day of  University tomorrow.
