It's so damn hard to stay mad at him when he grins at me like that, and his eyes twinkle like they do. I try not to, but my mouth curves up in a smile. To hide it I turn around and start walking back to my dorm. Although I'm not really looking where I'm going and I feel myself collide with somebody else. Everything I'm holding drops to the ground.

I look to see who I've crashed into and recognise a familiar patched up satchel. The girl from Foyles today looks me dead in the eye, and she does not look happy. Although she didn't look happy earlier today either.

"Sorry," I manage to say.

She just eyes me up and down and I can almost feel the iciness of her. Then she saunters off past me. What is with that girl? "What a bitch," I mumble, bending down to pick up my things.

I finally retrieve my rhubarb and custards and when I get to Zayn's car he's staring me down.

"Did you get me anything from your trip to fucking China?"

I roll my eyes and throw everything on him, slipping into the passenger seat. "Sorry, minor hold up."

"Everything okay?"

I nod, but my mind's still focused on that girl. For some reason she doesn't like me and I really can't figure out why. I don't bother telling Zayn, it doesn't matter.

He starts the car and his Cranberries album starts playing. "Alright, we ready then?"

I look at him and smile. "Let's go."

We reach the hall where the reunion's being held in about an hour, and things seem to be still getting set up. We park and jump out and go help Avery and Niall, who are basically the only ones there.

"Hey, guys!" Niall yells. "Just in time. We need help with the food."

I look around the hall and there's tables in a huge line that have huge boards sitting on top of them. With closer inspection I see the boards all have photos on them of our entire senior year. There's social and professional photos and even notes and letters to and from students.

"This looks amazing," I cry.

"You think so?" Avery bounds over to me.

"How did you even find all of these?" I walk over and look at one of the boards that has photos of the sports teams. I look at the football photo that contains Niall, Louis, Harry and Liam. I stay looking at Liam for a while before Avery tears my attention away.

"Well it took some time," she says. "I contacted a lot of people asking if they could send me things, and I also used the yearbook and the school's system."

"It looks good," I say. It's weird to see these moments that still feel so fresh captured in photographs. It makes it seem like it was so long ago, not half a year ago. But I kind of like it how everyone's trapped. It makes it still feel like everyone's connected, and we're not all split up around the world. It makes it still feel like these people are in my life.

"Hey, you girls gonna help us out here?" Zayn yells out, balancing a plate of cupcakes on one arm and two plates of sandwiches on the other.

Avery and I rush to help out Niall and Zayn, laying plates of food out onto the tables. And eventually people are starting to arrive. Niall and Avery work together greeting absolutely everyone. It's crazy how they know literally everyone. Everyone I've seen so far I barely even recognise.

"Check this out." Zayn points to a photo of him and I. I peer at it, I've never seen it before. We're out in the woods and I'm sitting on a log and him on a camp chair, and we seem very relaxed, and also completely unaware our photo's being taken. My head's down and he's just looking at me. The photo's not very clear, and we seem quite far away, but it's no doubt it's us.
