•So here I go again, makin' up some dumb excuses•

The event finally finished and we all decided to stay at my beach house for the night since there were no other helicopters left to take us back to the city. I know why couldn't we take a bus, you see that wouldn't be fun would it.

I was saying my goodbyes and my mom handed me the keys and said 'no hagas desorden'

"Don't worry mom the house will be even cleaner" I hugged her and headed down to the lobby where Leia and the boys were waiting for me

As I walked up to them I waved the keys and smiled. "Actually the beach house isn't that far we can walk if you guys want or I could get a limo" I said as I put the keys in my hand bag

"Um let's walk, it's better for the environment that all this event was about" nick laughed as we all started to walk to the house

"Yeah well by the time I have my kids this environment is going to be screwed because of people like him" I pointed across the street to a man just leaving his trash on the table

"That's disgusting" Leia quickly crossed the street and threw the trash out.

"The trash can is literally right next to him" Brandon shook his head "honestly what your dad talked about was disappointing because it's true"

We all nodded knowing it was right. As soon as Leia crossed the street we started to walk again

"Humans are a parasite on this earth" nick said as we turned up a hill "now we gotta walk up this hill" nick sounded exhausted and I won't blame him

"Says you, we're wearing heels" Leia laughed as we pushed ourselves to walk up the steep hill

We walk up to the small booth that controlled who entered and left the gate. Immediately a security guard walked out of the booth

"Miss I'm going to need an ID" the security guard said but I already knew the drill so I started to dig through my purse

"Oh my gosh, Paul?" I heard Leia scream/ whisper

"Wait Paul? Where?" I looked up and saw that the security guard was Paul (my ex best friend and my first boyfriend, don't worry nothing is weird with us just the occasional flirting)

"Hey bumble" he said as he walked up to me. We hugged for about a minute

"It's good to see you, see you're following your dads footsteps" I smile widely at him

"Me look at you you're gorgeous, and nah this is just a summer thing" he shrugged

"Sorry to interrupt your moment but my feet are killing me can we go inside Paul" Leia said shoving his shoulders a little

"Oh yeah go ahead but I'm going to need the two gentleman in the back to show me their ID's"

"Yeah sure dude" nick said as he and Brandon handed Paul their ID

I turned to look at them and Brandon just starred into the sunset he hasn't spoken ever since we got here

Paul walked to the booth and open the gate for us. As soon as we walked inside he handed the guys their ID through the window

"Thanks Paul it was nice to see you" I gave him a cheeky smile

"Yeah same here princess, take care guys"

The gates closed and we started our walk up the hill again. The sun started to set and bright oranges and pinks filled the sky.

"It's beautiful" I said as I stopped for a second to look at the sky

I turned to look at Brandon, somehow I kind of expected him to say something cheesy like 'I know' and stare at me. The same thing happened on the helicopter. He's probably daydreaming or something
