Chapter Title: The Smile i cant stop thinking about

~1 week later~

its been a week since i met that peep guy. I still cant get that night out of my head, his smile, his laugh, how respectful he was. But i was determined to not get my heart broken again. Heartbreak is the worst pain. You put your all into someone... your love, your time, your heart, your emotions. its all on the line, and that scares me. My ex's only broke me, put me down. it wasnt love. Although i thought it was. dont get me wrong i know all guys are different, im just scared to be hurt, to be left again.

'knock' 'knock'

I look over to my doorway seeing my younger sister Alex leaning against my door frame. "Yes?" i spoke out loud. "h-hey" she was looking at the ground. "yo why the fuck you looking at the ground, am i not worth actual eye contact." i said starting to get angry because i felt disrespected. "N-no y-you are... I-" her voice was shaky, she only got like this when something was up. So i cut her off. "don't try to act like i don't know that somethings up, you seem to forget i've known you all your life" i said walking slowly towards her. "Alex! look at me godammit!" she slowly lifted her head up revealing her black eye and busted lip. I could see the tears well up in her eyes, i knew she was gonna cry. 

I pulled her into a hug as she began crying. "Who the fuck laid there hands on you!!" it was silent. "ALEX, FUCKING ANSWER ME!." I was beyond pissed that someone fucking put there hands on my sister. "I-It was J-Josh" she said crying, i pulled away from the hug, Josh was her boyfriend i told her he was no good. "please tell me you left his ass?" i said in a serious tone. "Y-Yea, but Luna i'm scared" she said as he voice was shaky from balling her eyes out. "I swear to god if i see that fucking asshole, i'ma put a bullet between his fucking eyes" I said my anger was getting out of control. I paced back and forth running my fingers through my hair roughly.

 "it already happen its over Luna... theres nothing you could do. so calm down will ya." she said. "Ive been through this myself Alex, i never wanted you to feel what i had to feel. im supposed to protect you from bastards like him... but i didn't" I said feel my tears threaten to fall. "Its over okay, ill be okay" she said. I hugged her tightly, and made my way downstairs to get ice for her eye... "here, this should take down the swelling." i said as i handed it to her she took it putting it on her swollen eye. god i hate seeing her like this. "Ow.. fuck" she winced in pain as soon as the ice hit her eye. "everything's gonna be okay." i said rubbing her shoulder trying to comfort her. we talked for awhile longer till she said she was gonna go lay down. 

I flopped down onto my bed and let out a loud sigh. I played with the hair elastic that was on my wrist, i was about to drift off into my thoughts till my phone rang. I look at my phone seeing that sky wanted to face time. I accepted it. "You know that crazy house we went to a party at last week when raven stormed out." she said. "Um yea, so..." I replied i was still grumpy. "damn girl, what the fuck got you so pissed off" she said. "im not talking about it so give it up" I said. "Okay.. okay fine." she  sighed then paused.

 "well Raven got invited to another party there, you coming or not?" she asked. I contemplated it. but i decided to go to get my mind off things and well to get fucked up. "Yea..." I replied. "Ok while ill drive tonight okay, ill pick you up in an hour" she said. "Okay, fine" i replied with that she ended the call.
