Half of him was terrified, half of him enjoyed.

They proceeded to the next activity.

Finally, after going through the course, they came face to face with their last obstacle: the rappel.

Tord was giddy. He couldn't wait any longer, so he rushed up and got his harness ready.
Edd followed from behind, excited to experience the thrill.
Matt confronted Tom.

"Why not?"

"I just don't want to..." Tom reasoned.

"Tom! Matt! You guys coming or what?" Tord called out.

"Hold on a second, Tord! Tom doesn't seem to be in the mood."

Tord patted Edd's shoulder. "You go first."
Edd nodded as Tord walked over to the two standing off to the side.

Tord asked. "Why is that?"

"I don't want to..." Tom replied, crossing his arms and looking away.

Matt excused himself and went to where Edd was and watched as Edd went down the rope.
Tord and Tom were watching as well. They saw their friend go down the rope smoothly.
Once Edd had reached the ground, Matt began to climb.

Tord looked back at Tom.
"Are you scared?~" He teased.

Tom shook his head in denial. "No! I'm- I just-!"

"Really?" Tord raised a brow. Clearly he was.
"It's alright, this activity isn't for the weak anyway."

By now, Tom would've hit Tord. Instead he felt... Nothing. Confused, he stared at the Brit who simply hugged himself while watching Matt do it.
He was visibly shaking just by the thought of going up.

"Tom, come on. It's safe! See?" Tord gestured at Matt who safely made his way down and stood on both feet.
With a proud smile on Matt's face, he yelled "I DID IT!!"

Tom wasn't convinced.
"Didn't you say that this activity wasn't for the "weak"?"

"Alright, alright. You're not going up there. I get it..." He closed his eyes; humming as he thought of something.

"So let's go somewhere else. Far from this area, far from this site. Do you agree?"

"I'm not going anywhere with you Commie-" Tom growled.

"Then up you go-!"

"NO!"

Tom pushed Tord away from him. He wasn't and will not do it.
He was going to make his decision clear.

So was Tord.

"Then close your eyes."
Tom did as he was told. A piece of cloth was placed over them.
He felt two pairs of hands holding both of his wrists and leading him off somewhere. The sound of clinking metal and busy workers were no longer heard. Only silence, their footsteps and the sound of birds chirping.

Soon, he heard noise again.
Where was Tord taking him?
He then felt an object in front of him. He touched it; guessing by the material, it was a bamboo ladder.
