Destiny
I sit on the bed in my room at my grandmas house thinking about how tomorrow is my first day of eighth grade at Mason Creek Middle.
I huff out a breath before going to my walk in closet. I look over my various outfit choices and think about what I wanted to wear.
I chose a red and black long sleeved flannel and ripped black jeans with my white high top converse.
After sitting my outfit out on my dresser I get myself ready to take a shower putting my wavy curly waist length hair into a bun.
As I was walking out of the room a phone was shoved in my face. When my eyes focused on the screen I saw it was my mother on FaceTime.
Saying that I was excited to talk to her would be a lie but I put on my big girl pants and said, "Hey mom how's Seoul?"
"It's great baby thank you for asking I just wanted to let you know I sent you a copy of your schedule and that all your placements except Algebra 1 transferred over." Was her response.
"Thanks for the heads mom. I'm gonna go shower now and get ready for school tomorrow." I quickly ran to the bathroom before she said anything else.
I hopped into the shower and relaxed letting the water run across my back not knowing if I really was ready for this.
After s while I got out and out on my pajamas and went back to my room. I crawled into my bed and scrolled through my Instagram timeline.
I saw all my old friends posts about going to school in the morning and saw all of the photos of them spending the last day of summer together.
All this moving I do really stops me from completely bonding with people and makes me a sad but that'll pass over.
I look over at the clock on my nightstand and see how late it was and decided I gotta go to sleep.
I close my eyes before snapping then back open seeing as I didn't look at my schedule for school.
I quickly memorize my classes.
1st Period~Mr. Eddy- Advanced Science
2nd Period~Mr. John- Advanced Math
3rd Period~Lunch
4th Period~Mrs. Robin- Advanced ELA
5th Period~Intervention/Free
6th Period~Mr. Ryan-Advanced History
I quickly put down my phone and go to sleep.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Is what startled me out of my peaceful sleep. I throw my five foot self out of bed the put on my clothes and shoes.
Since I had on long sleeves I decided not to wear a jacket. I say down in front of my mirror and decided that I'll just let my hair down and put on lipgloss and mascara.
After doing that I walk down stairs and grab my backpack full on folders and five subject notebooks for each class throwing my phone in there also.
I grab my water bottle from the refrigerator I didn't have to fill it because I did that last night.
I finally walked out of the front door locking it behind me with my key because I knew my grandma wouldn't be home later.
I head down the street and headed the rest of the way to school. When I got there I followed the many signs above the hallways and found my class.
My teacher was out side the door handing out numbers I grabbed one and headed to the seat paired with that one.
I looked around at the other people sitting around me and saw I was by three other girls.
None of them seemed to know or be talking to each other. I just got out my folder and notebook for that class a pencil and waited for it to begin.
When class was finally one over I was the first one out of the room and halfway done the hallway in record time.
I stood along the all of my next class waiting for the teacher to let us in the room.
He eventually did and told us to sit anywhere in the room.
I sat in a desk up against the wall still not having anyone talk to me or talking to anyone.
This class was over fast as the so teacher didn't spend time introducing us and going over the syllabus.
During lunch I drank the contents from my water bottle and waited for this period to be over.
It was soon and I headed to my next class and sat down. Now this class was interesting as Mrs. Robin was different she gave us a project to do.
She told us to bring in three things that represent us.
The period was over and I remembered I had Free with no one to spend it with.
So I pulled out my black beats which were a guilt present from my mom and turned on my music sitting in the hallway.
My eyes were closing when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I look up and see the giants standing over me.
"Uhhhh, Hi?"
And that's a wrap. This is my first non-fan fiction story and I don't really know what or how I'm gonna do this but oh well right be spontaneous.
