---------------------------------------------April-------------------------------------------------

The first day of grade 10, What can I say I was terrified, how could I not be? Everyone judging

your every move. You basically have to be perfect. I woke up, my alarm flashing 6:00 am. I groan

and throw my face into my soft pillow, my alarm still playing the radio seeming to get louder and

louder. I finally decide to get up and get dressed, I never bothered making my bed, after all, I

would just mess it up by the end of the day. I put on the outfit I picked out for myself the day

before. Ripped jeans and a dark red shirt tucked in with a thick black belt. I thought I had a great

outfit, I sat down at my dresser and put on some mascara. I looked at the time, 6:30 am. I

grabbed all of the school supplies and shoved it into a bag. I made my lunch, orange, apple,

carrots, rice crispy, and a yogurt drink. Ate some toast and quickly called my good friend Kris.

After a long phone call I headed to catch the bus. Once I got to the bus stop I notice a person I

have never seen before. He was tall, at least 6 foot 4, blonde, not fat and not skinny; average. He

had glasses that made his eyes seem larger than they actually were. I got on the bus and he sat

across from me. I kept looking over at him I wanted to start a conversation or something. After a

couple of minutes of me arguing with myself on what to say in my head, I decided to introduce my self.

"Hey, I'm April, You excited for grade 10?"

He replied with

"My name's Adam, I'm a little nervous if I'm being honest"

I detected an accent from England and it fitted his looks very well.

"me too, What class do you have first?" I replied

"outdoor ED, do you know what room that is?"

"Same, I've heard good things about that class, it's in room 115"

The bus pulled into the school and we went our separate ways. He walked up to his friends and

they started laughing

Damn it I already fucked up they're probably laughing about me, I thought to myself. I saw my

friends and told them about the boy I met on the bus.
