FRISK'S POV

I heard a knock on my door. After getting to the surface, that was pretty common, being the monster's ambassador. I put the flower pot down, and open the door. Sans, my friend, stands there, hands in his blue jacket pockets as usual.

"Hey Frisk, how's life? Wish I still had mine" he said, almost like he was trying to imply that he was making a joke. Despite the bad joke, I giggled nonetheless.

I invited him in. As I predicted, he crashed on my couch. He looked at me. "There is a matter of importance that I need to talk to you about," Sans said.

I sat down. "It must be really important if you're talking like Papyrus" I teased, and his cheeks turned a bright blue, as they did when he got embarrassed.

"Anyways, I was browsing my new house and I found a note on the couch. It was in some sort of code I didn't understand. I was hoping you would know." He handed me a slightly crumpled piece of paper. It had hand signals that I knew nothing about.

I looked at him and shook my head. He sighed. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned. Player stood behind me; or hovered behind me. She smiled, as she usually did. She grabbed the paper and examined it.

"Wingdings. I haven't seen these in a while" she replied, then handed the paper back to me.

PLAYER'S POV

I tried to act calm when I saw the paper. My face looked totally chill, but deep down I felt the urge to scream in horror. Wingdings were the last things I wanted to see. Especially after I had a run-in with Gastertale Sans a few weeks ago.

I looked at Frisk and Sans. "We need to go see Alphys," I say. Sans looked at me as sweat began to run down his skull. I think he knows what is going on.

He gets up and grabs Frisk by the hand and me by the arm. Before I knew what was happening, I found that he had given us one of his shortcuts.

We stood in front of Alphys' house.
