Hikaro holds his humanity in the end. Grabbing the scythe he amplifies it with fire and impaled himself. Burning his organs he nullified himself from regenerating and suddenly he lost his breathing, he was dead. Hikaro fell down onto the ground dead. Smiling in satisfaction. He died a hero Rather than living as a monster. In shock, Feilita fell on her backside along with the now peacefully resting Hikaro. Rhaast was surprised that he did such action. In frustration, He informed Aatrox that the conversion was a total failure as Chase disengaged God Mode. Rhaast retreated immediately into a portal, never to be seen again.

Darko watched Hiki die, and when Darko looked at Hiki's Crystal Heart it was slowly turning into a bright pink dust."He-he's dead. I couldn't save him." He studdered in horror to the sight.

When Chase witnessed Hikaro dying he thought back to his first mission. The one where he joined Lucifer to protect his family. He let himself be killed as atonement. Only to be brought back as a monster by Lucifer himself. He stopped completely. He knew how Hikaro felt. Chase touched his diamond embedded in his chest thinking If only Hikaro had this. Then he would live. He clutched it tightly ready to yank it out, but the thought of never seeing Alex, Zena, Heather, Ryan, or John scared him. Zypher did tell him he would reunite at the end, but when was that?

"I understand..." he said to Hikaro's will. The Diamond reacted to Hikaro's soul leaving his body glowing brightly then returning to normal.

When Hikaro killed himself Grant was shocked. He didn't know him, but the saddness of Darko made him sad too, but he shed no tears, for what good would it do.

Zetron returned form the place he was thrown just after Hikaro died. "I have arrived too late. I am unaware of what happened." Zetron picks up Zedrone. "What happened, little one?" The Zedrone held up images of a stick figure w/out an arm and a muzzle on his face. He had demon horns. Zetron scans the image and puts down the robotic child. "Hikaro has turned evil, just like I calculated. I was trying to kill him before this point. There was a 98.7% chance that he went down this path. How many casualties were there?"

The Black Sludge that surrounded Darko's, or James', body slithered it's way back down to his forearm turning both his appearance and his eye color back to it's normal state. James then fell down to the ground losing consciousness. Hex looked down at James' unconscious body and all three of his Dream Eaters appeared behind Hex. They all looked down at James' body, well all of them except for Bats. He had flew over to Hiki's cold dead body. Ruttsu then approached Hex. "I might have an idea, I could use the dragon balls to wish him back to life. Even that heart made out of crystals as well."

The bat dream eater looked at Ruttsu. "From what I know of I'm sure that this Kid here wouldn't even want to be brought back. If he was this whole entire event might happen all over again." Ruttsu was now looking away from this. He had his left fist on his left hip as he feel guilty about what happened to Hikaro. He was not showing any tears as he had a guilty expression on his face. He had to look away so that no one would know he felt guilty.

The stranger was behind them "Well, there goes another soul. seems like there's nothing to do but either mourn or do something else, so for now... I'll be going." he said to them seeing the aftermath.

Zetron picked up Hiki and used his void ability to make a hole in the area. He buried Hiki and laser carved a message into an iron tombstone:

'Hero that feel from Grace.'

'Hikaro.'

'"As long as I help people it's all worth it."'

Meow, the cat-dog hybrid Dream Eater looked up at the stranger and then up at Hex. Hex was still confused about how all of this escalated so quickly.
