Chapter 2: What?

Shawn's POV

We drove to the mall, it was fun.
She always had her arm around my wrists, it made me feel strange.
But not in a bad way.
This may not be just some little crush...
I think I may be in love

"Okay, I think Were done here" Bethany's angelic voice said as we began to walk out of the mall.
"That was...fun" I said with a smile, she smiled as well.
"You know Mendes, your one interesting fella" She said roughing up my hair, I lightly pushed her hand away while chuckling.

"Where are we going now?" I asked as we pulled out of the mall parking lot.
"Well were not going back to school AKA hell" Bethany said. "but we can go to my place, my parents are never home"
"Oh okay" I mumbled but inside I was freaking out.
Im going to Bethany Rivers house, just me and her.
I felt my face burn at the thought.
"Hey Shawn?" Bethany said getting my attention.
Oh uh yeah?" I asked, my face still red.
"How tall are you?" She asked looking me up and down.
"Uh 6.1" I said nervously, I grow way to much...
I could hear her mumble "Damn" under her breath as we pulled up to a huge mansion.
"Welcome home!" She exclaimed hopping out of the drivers seat.
"This is your house!" I asked getting out of the car as well, not taking my eyes off the huge home.
She nodded and walked up the step, I followed.
Inside was even bigger! Her house was gorgeous.
"Let's go up to my room" She said taking off her jacket, I quietly but nervously gulped as she showed me the way to her room.
She ran down the hall and flung a dor open, walking into the room, I followed.
Her room was very big, a queen sized bed sat in the middle of the bedroom, a what looked to be a walk in closet was on the right side of the room, along with a bathroom, a large desk with a apple laptop stood on the left side of the room and a tv and some beanbags were in a small corner.
"Woah!" I said looking around.
"Thanks" She laughed.

"So er what now?" My shakey voice asked.
"How bout we watch some Netflix?" She said with a smile planted on her face, her straight teeth popping out.
"Sure" I repiled looking down and stratching the back of my neck, I did this when I was nervous.

She walked over to the tv and turned on Netflix.
"I'll go make us some food, you pick out the movie" She said sending me a small wink before walking out her door.

I held the wii remote in my shakey hands.
"How?" I mumbled under my breath.

A few minutes later I was still in process mode, Bethany came back up with the food.
"Earth to Shawn, hellooo" She said lightly hitting my face, I looked up at her.

She giggled.

"Oh sorry" I mumbled straightening myself in the beanbag.
We made ourselves confortable with popcorn, chocolate bars and milkshakes. Bethany chose the movie Mean Girls.
"Whats your faviorate quote?" She asked halfway threw the movie. Popcorn was stuffed in her mouth.
"Uh I don't know, whats yours?" I asked back, she smirked at me.

"Shawn, have you ever been to a girls house alone?" She asked me sitting up in her beanbag.
"Uh er no.." I trailed off, my stomach doing backflips.

"Have you ever kissed a girl?" She asked biting her bottom lip and resting her hand on my knee, my breath hitched.
"Uh Bethany" I started my breath increasing. "Why me?"
"What do you mean?" She asked, Her head slightly tilted.
"Why out of all the guys in the school, you chose me?" I asked, my face showed confusion.

"Because" Was all she said.
"Because what?" I asked moving around in my beanbag chair.
"Because I wanna get to know you better" She whispered pulling on my arm so our faces were and inch apart.

"Oh" I mumbled with a small chuckle.
She smirked.
"That is so fetch!" The girl on the tv exclaimed, she kept her eye contact with me as she pressed pause.

Silence filled the room.

She placed her hands on the sides of my face, staring at all my features.
"Why have I not noticed you before?" She questioned slightly giggling.

I shrugged my shoulders.

All of a sudden a pair of soft plump lips met mine, her lipgloss tasted like strawberries.

I placed my hands on the sides of her face and she ran her fingers threw my hair, I could feel her smirk.
"Shawn" She mumbled.
"Mhm?" I tried to get out.
"For a person whos never kissed anyone, you sure are good at it" She mumbled as our lips kept meeting again and again.

She moved herself over so she was sitting on my lap. My nervousness washed away.
I heard a car door slam shut, my heart beated.
"Whats wrong?" She pulled away with a confused face.
"I-I think your parents are home" I stutteres still in shock about what just happened.

"Oh shit they are" She exclaimed looking at her window.
"You gotta go!" She exclaimed, I hopped out of the beanbag chair.
"Where the hell do I go?" I whispered pacing around her room.
"Uh you could jump out the window" She suggested.
I shuffled to the window and opened it, looking down at the two story drop. I gulped.
"I'll try" I said, she walked over and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"And Shawn" She suddenly said grabbing the sleeve of my shirt.
"Don't tell anyone about this, got it?" She whispered sternly. I quickly nodded.
"Ok bye Shawn" She sent me a small wave, I took a deep breath before hopping out the window. My feet touch the ground but after a few seconds I dropped to my knees.

"Im okay!" I yelled and I could hear her giggle.

What the hell just happened?
