Just Wanna Bewitch You

~I Feel The Closer We Get~

        You've been listening to Ghost since you were old enough to pick your own music. This being said, you've always wanted to be able to see them live, and tonight your dream was coming true.
    As you stared getting ready for the ritual that was only an hour away when your friend Lily,whom got you the tickets came in. "Hey y/n, almost ready to head out?" You turned around and smiled, "Hell yeah! I'm almost done just like 5 more minutes and I'll be out." You said, as you finished straightening your h/l h/c hair. You decided on a basic makeup look, so you just did some winged eyeliner and a neutral lip gloss. As you finished putting your mascara on you heard you're friend yell for you, "Come on y/n, we gotta go". As you walked out you grabbed your keys and you and your friend were on your way, excitement taking over.
"I'm so so so excited", Lily said as you two waited in front of the venue. "Same, I'm so glad we get to go to our first ritual together!" You said as you both walked into the venue which had just opened. You two walked towards the stage as everyone else did, and you both got even more excited when you noticed you were front row. As minutes passed you and Lily were silenced as the lights dimmed and you saw the ghouls  take the stage. Smoke filled the stage and lights flashed on and the crowd went wild as they started playing Cirice. You and Lily went crazy with the rest of the crowd as Cardinal Copia came out as he started singing. "I feel your presence amongst us you cannot hide in the darkness...", you sang along loudly with a huge grin. Then it happened, he looked right at you and smiled. You figured he was looking at someone around you as there were hundreds of people there, until he came up to you. He kneeled down and reached for your hand. As you took it he sang, "I can feel the thunder that breaking in your heart, I can see through the scars inside you" You sang along, neither of your breaking eye contact. You felt the cool leather of his gloves and you were in a trance like state as you looked into the pair of mismatched eyes. As he got up to walk away he winked at you. "Holy shit y/n! Your so lucky" lily said just as awestruck as you.
     As the night went on and the concert came to an end, the moment between Cardinal Copia and you never left your mind. As you and Lily went towards the bar, you felt a hand on your shoulder. It was a security guard, "ma'am I'm gonna need you to follow me", he said with a straight face. Thoughts of what it could be filled your mind. As he lead you backstage your heart started pounding as you noticed the ghouls putting their instruments away. Then it happened, Cardinal walked out of his room and the minute he saw you, a grin spread across his face. "There she is", He said loudly. You didn't know what to do you, you just stood there frozen. You turned to look at the guard but he was gone. As your turned back towards Cardinal, you noticed he was much much closer than before. "Hello dear", he said much more calmly. "Uh... Hi" you said awkwardly. It was silent for a moment as he studied your face. "What's your name beautiful?" You felt like time was nonexistent, "y/n" you said quietly. He smiled, "there's no need to be shy", he said laughing. "That's a beautiful name". You were a blushing mess as you thanked him. "Would you like to come have a seat, if your not in a hurry anywhere?" He asked, a hint of hopefulness in his voice. You smiled, much more calm now and agreed completely forgetting about Lily.
As he led you to a large room, you both took a seat, and he handed you a drink. "I hope you don't mind, all we have is beer" you smile and take it from him, "no I don't mind, thank you". You both talked for about a half an hour but as he was about to say something, someone came in. "Hey sorry to interrupt but the bus leaves in 10", as the man walked out of the room Cardinal turned to you. "It was really great meeting you y/n", he said smiling. You smiled back, "same to you, I had a really great time". He smiled and nodded. "I have to go but is there anyway I could possibly get your number?" You blushed, did THE Cardinal Copia just as you for your number? You calmly nodded, and pulled out your phone. He pulled out his and copied your number into his phone. "Come on man we're leaving in 5", the voice from earlier called. He frowned, "I gotta go, but it was nice getting to talk to you, I'll text you when I get the chance", he said smiling. You smiled back, "ok, have a good night". He opened his arms for a hug and you happily obliged, however mid hug he was pulled away by whom you assume was one of the ghouls. "Ok lover boy we have to go", you laughed. "Bye dear, don't forget I'll text you when I can", he yelled as he was drug out. You stood there for a few minutes letting the previous events sink in. After a few minutes passed, you pulled out your phone and saw lily had blown your phone up wondering where you were.
    After a long ride home full of Lily freaking out about you getting to hug Cardinal Copia and then you giving him your number, you were finally home. Once you got inside you took a shower and plopped into bed, the memories of the night running through your mind. You rub your eyes and get ready to go to sleep when your phone dings, but sleep has already consumed you.
