"I see you got jokes." I said walking into the kitchen to ram shack her refrigerator.
"Wash them hands!" She yelled.
I laughed and washed my hands. I was in the middle of getting some koolaid when my phone rung.
"Speak." I said answering the phone without looking at the caller ID.
"Speak? Who you talking to?" I heard Arianna say.
Me and Arianna been cool lately. I decided to reach out and apologize how the way I acted in Cancun. Not that she deserved a apology but ima be the bigger person.
"My bad." I said laughing. "Wassup?"
"Nothing. Just was calling to see what you was doing." She said letting out a sigh.
"Oh ian doing shi- nothing." I said peeking in the living room to see if my mama heard me.
"Oh well. See you around. Right?" She asked.
"Yeah. Yeah." I said putting the the pitcher back in the refrigerator.
She hung up and I let out a sigh. I leaned against the sink and my mind drifted to Kierra. I hope she know what she getting herself into.
"What's on yo' mind." Cari said walking into the kitchen.
I shook my head. "Nothing."
"I knew you all my life. I know where you're lying and you not good at it." She said with a chuckle.
I laughed. "Just thinking." I said putting my cup in the sink.
"Mhm. You still lying but ok." She said walking out the kitchen.
I laughed and shook my head.
