John's POV
"Hey John", Claire waved. John looked up, and smiled.
"Claire, what's up?"
"Well you know how we're all low-tiers? We were thinking maybe a low-tier turf wars would be epic."
John paused. "You're saying like, Grade 1 low-tiers playing turf wars.. from the same school?" John stared at Claire in disbelief. Her green hair looked as though it were glowing.
"Well yeah. Plus, we'd be on the same team! I have foresight, remember? We'll win easy!"
John's eyes flashed back at his lunch. I.. I mean, it can't be that bad, right? I mean, would it even be fair? Some of us low-tiers are still more powerful than the rest that they may as well be crippled!
"I don't know, Claire. Maybe."
Claire's POV
Claire looked into John eye's, powering up. She already knew he would agree. Plus, maybe practically meant yes.
The current king of the school Cameron, was Claire's older brother. He had green hair, and he was a 7.4. It was quite interesting, the battle for king in his grade year. Claire loved to think of it and think of John in his place. John would make an amazing leader..
She was only thinking when John came down and nodded. "Let's do it!" He said enthusiastically.
Claire felt a terrible feeling about this, but she went along and smiled. "I knew you would make up your mind!"
John's gaze flickered from the field to Claire, and gave a small but worrisome smile.
"John, c'mon it won't be that bad." Claire tried to coax him. "It'll be fun! Plus, I got a Grade 2 healer to help us!"
John suddenly seemed convinced. "Is it Allora?"
Claire rolled her eyes. Why does John have to be so obsessed with a healer? She's nothing. She just heals. She's basically crippled.
But of course I chose her! No other person would agree anyway..
"Yes, John. It's Allora."
John smiled and leapt forward. "What are you waiting for?" He asked, with a sudden burst of energy.
"Well I was waiting for you..." Claire muttered before she realized that John had already raced towards the field. "Great." Claire groaned.
