Crybaby's POV:
It's been nearly what, 2 hours now of walking? It felt longer than that. Passed by a few gas stations, diners, and one town.
"Blurryface, when are we stopping for the night?" I was becoming tired, and hungry. "Um, I don't really know yet. We should at least get in one more hour, to keep our distance away by being caught." He did have a point. "Alright." I said. And so we kept on our trail.
We stopped at a gas station. I bought some more water and a lighter for wood if we decide to sleep outside. I went to go pay for my items. "Hm, you two kids from around here?" The cashier asked me. "Yes, we're with our parents." She raised her eyebrow. "You camping?" She noticed our backpacks. "Or with a heavy load like that, are you running away with your little friend?" "My brother and I are camping ma'am." "So I suppose you're going to the camping ground sight near here, correct?" A place to sleep, finally. "There's a camping ground nearby?" "Just down the road about a mile or two, Meadow Springs, they even make fresh hot breakfast for visitors." Sounds like a benefit for me and Blurryface. "Meadow Springs, got it, thank you." "You kids and your family be safe now, you hear?" "Yes ma'am."
We left the gas station, walking back on our trail. "I heard you and the woman talking about a camping ground?" Blurryface asked. "Yeah, something called Meadow Springs? They serve hot breakfast, maybe we could stay there for the night." "If they don't figure us out." "True."
After about 40 minutes after walking, we saw a sign that read "Meadow Springs Camping Grounds of Ohio: With God, All Things are Possible." "Finally." We both said.
There was a side specifically for campers and another side just for RV's. On the campers side it read "Please register your name: 13+ Only" "Good thing we're old enough." Blurryface said. "Yeah but uh, well, we don't exactly have a tent." I said. "Hm." There was some forest right next to us, Blurryface started to look around. "What are you doing?" "Ah ha." He found a small blue tent. It had the poles that came with it. It has small tiny holes but it should do.
We set up the tent, put our stuff inside and got situated. I saw him took out a prescription bottle that read "Prozac." He threw it to the side. "Are you okay?" I asked "Yeah." "Are you homesick yet?" "A little." I wasn't. "It's okay if you are." "My parents, they're probably worried about me. But this is for the best." "Maybe it is." "This is kinda weird but, thanks for being there for me." "I'm happy to say the same to you." He smiled and held out his hand. "Friends?" I shook his hand back. "Friends."
