Every morning I wake up, I think of him. Everytime I head to school, I think of him. But does he ever think of me? Probably not.
It was a Thursday morning and I was getting ready for high school, I thought of him this morning when I woke up and your probably thinking, who is he. His name is Josh, he's the captain of the soccer team, it sucks because he will never understand how much I like him. Every girl raves about him, I mean he has brown hair, ocean blue eyes and his muscles are heavenly...
"Jess, are you ready for your breakfast?" Mum calls from downstairs
Ugh she had to ruin my thoughts "yeah just coming " I skip down the stairs and grab my breakfast.
"Someone is happy this morning " my mum laughs.
I roll my eyes, my mum says this everyday. She knows I have a slight crush on Josh but she will never know how much I really like him, I sit down at the breakfast bar and begin eating my bagel with cream cheese, thinking about what lesson I have first, ugh maths, the most dreaded subject, I finish my breakfast and head back upstairs to get ready for another day at school.
'Bye mum see you later" I say to my mum as I grab my bag and my car keys and head out the door, without giving my mum a chance to say "'bye sweetie" I get in my car and the first thing I do is blare out my Spotify playlist, the first song that comes on is 'mine' by Bazzi, I start driving on the road pouring my heart out to the song "'hands on your body I don't wanna waste no time" god why do I have to sing those specific lyrics out loud..
I finally arrive at school and the first person I see is HIM. I smile knowing that today is going to be a good day, today he decided to wear a pair of grey jogging bottoms and an Adidas T-shirt, pretty basic but it still makes him look hot. What is it with guys in grey joggers? I laugh to myself before getting out of my car and locking it, before heading towards the school. If you're wondering where my friends are, they are already here waiting in the cafeteria. As soon as I see them I walk over and sit down next to them.
"Hey Jess" they all say, I reply with a simple 'hello' and a quick smile.
"did you see Josh this morning " my childhood best friend Louise asks.
"Yeah I saw him as I parked my car, he looks so damn hot" I laugh.
All my friends know I fancy him. And they believe that he likes me also, but I say it's not true because I don't even think he knows who I am, well he does due to being in my year but he doesn't at the same time because he's never spoken to me, all he's ever done is look in my direction and smile. Oh crap, I have just made eye contact with him and now I can't look away, crap crap crap.
"earth to Jess" Chantelle laughs. I shake my head and look back at my friends before laughing and apologising.
