Wooyoung pov
I only managed to sleep for maybe one or two hours. I was in pain, so much pain. After a while it was slowly getting better, or so I kept telling myself.
The door creaked open and I wanted to die even more now.
—Good morning, darling.
San said with his disgustingly sweet voice. His presence was making me feel sick already. I felt him sit down on the bed. My whole body stiffened. He started to softly rub circles on my back.
-I want to wake up already please.
—Did you sleep well? You look tired.
I stayed silent and once again made him pissed. He grabbed me by my hair and yanked my head up to make me look in his eyes.
—I asked you a fucking question, you bitch.
I whimpered and he grinned. I still haven't said a word though and he was not satisfied with that. He got on the bed and pinned my hands above my head. I squeezed my eyes shut as I felt tears forming in them. I heard a deep chuckle and started to sob quietly.
—Don't cry, sweetie.
San began to caress my cheek gently. I sobbed louder. I was so scared. He then let go of me and with that he got off the bed too.
—Why are you doing this?
I whispered between sobs. He looked at me and then turned away, thinking.
—I don't know.
He said unsure. He sounded lost and confused like he just truly didn't know why he had been doing all of this. For some reason I felt sorry for him. He was sick and it wasn't his fault. Probably... He needed help, that's for sure. I looked up at him and he was already looking at me like a lost puppy. He made my stomach twist. I hated him.
—I really don't know...
He confessed. Everything went silent after that. He just stood there, thinking about God knows what. All of a sudden he started to cry loudly. I was too surprised to even say a word.
—I didn't mean it, I swear. I never meant to hurt anyone. I was just so mad at him and done with him hurting me for so long. I was so mad at the whole word. I didn't know how to let out all my anger. So I began to take it out on other people. I never meant to hurt anyone. I swear. I-.
He started to cry again.
—I'm really sorry. I didn't know what I was doing.
I was shocked. This stranger. A creep. A person who has hurt other people just broke down in front of me. I felt pity for this mentally ill man. He kept on saying I'm sorry and please forgive me, but I didn't know what to say, or how to react at all.
I decided to try and calm him down. It was a risky decision but who knew what might happen if he stays like this.
—I forgive you. Don't worry, I'm not angry at you. It's okay.
I tried my best to sound genuine. Soon his crying session died down as he seemed to have calmed down.
—Why?
He asked and I looked at him confused.
—I hurt you so much and you're still so nice to me. I don't understand.
—I don't know...
I said unsure on what to expect but surprisingly he just nodded and looked away.
—Thank you.
He whispered then left the room, probably to think about what just happened. He really was a mess. I just smiled. Praying to the Gods that he wont do anything to me this time.
I sat on my bed and let my mind wander off.
-I wonder if San will change after our 'talk' or stay the same. Maybe I could convince him somehow to let me go? He seems so unpredictable though...
I got up from the bed and walked up to the door. I tried to open it, but it was locked. Naïve me thought that he wouldn't lock the door after he left.
I signed and walked up to the one and only window. This part of the town seemed so dead. Was he the only one still living here? It felt like I was in the middle of nowhere.
I wonder if my friends are missing me.
----------- Hello. I'm back, and I'm not dead. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. And sorry for making y'all wait for so long.
