Chapter 36

Feeling his warm presence behind me he kissed my neck and turned off the stove. Did it just get hot in here ?

" What are you doing Brian ?" I asked.

" Trying to eat " he said kissing on my neck line. I swallowed hard and tried to keep my legs from going weak. His hands trailed my waist and played with the line lining of my shorts. I was all in at this point. Ain't no since in holding out I'm a grown ass woman I can do as I pleased.

Out of nowhere he stopped kissing me and reached around me for his plate.

I cocked my eyebrows at him he chuckled.

" What you stop for ? "

" I said I was trying to eat ...oh you thought I meant ....nasty girl " he teased. I threw the dish rag at him and he ducked.

" Watch yourself mama " he taunted as he ate a spoon full of grit. I smiled deviously at him

" Hope those grits are good I dipped my tongue in them " I lied.

He smiled back at me and took a bigger spoonful happily.

" Taste pretty good to me baby " he said. I smiled at him. If only he knew how happy he makes me when he's around.

AJ POV

Y'all don't understand how scared I was yesterday to see my mother bleeding. So many thoughts was running thru my mind. I prayed the whole way that she and my baby sister would be fine.

And they were. My mother gave birth to a beautiful girl and I couldn't have been happier.

Of course dad made me mad the way he sheltered her yesterday. I mean I ain't even get to hold her. But when I saw her I knew she'd be a problem. One I would gladly handle. She look to good as when she gets older I'm going catch bodies off the rip cause I ain't having none of that.

It felt good to see my mother happy tho. No more mood swings , constant sweatpants , she can eat as she pleases , no more weight gaining none of that stuff that she complained about. She got her body back and a baby in return. Ain't that wassup ?

" Uncle Eric you don't want no more kids " I asked since it was just me an him in his man cave chillen.

He took a deep breath " I got you , Sky , CJ , Avery now , TeeTee expecting and Rhy " he said chilling in his recliner.

I like at him like he was crazy " Uhm Rhy bout to have a baby ?" I asked confused. He let out a deep chuckle

" Nah youngin Rhy is the baby " he said we both let Out a roaring laugh. That was hella funny.

" You ain't right " I said in between laughter

" No him. We need a check off him cause lord knows that man ain't all the way together " Uncle Eric admitted.

I laughed and dapped him up.

RHYHEEM POV

I was in the room with Khayla we were still in bed. She didn't want me to leave her for today. We stayed out last night because we went to see Brit give birth to Avery.

" Good Morning " I said to Khayla when she woke up. She stretched her body out and smiled up at me.

" Good morning Rhyheem " she said pulling out the bed. Not wantin her to leave me I pulled her back in. Chest to chest.

" What are you doing ? " She asked

I didn't answer her I just kissed her and tangled my hands up in her hair. I know I give her a hard time but this my baby. Always have been I just have a " Rhy " way of showing it sometimes.
