There in the kitchen, Avni was cursing him.
" How can he be so careless. He had just missed this time. oh god! what would have happened if papa had decoded. Oh no, Such an idiot. "
Suddenly, out of nowhere a warn hands were wrapped along her waist making her shriek. Neil immediately got cautioned and closed her mouth by his huge hands.
" Shh, it's me Avni," Neil said and slowly removed his hands making her face to him.
"So, who is the idiot? " he asks chuckling.
This made her temper flare more and started hitting him everywhere.
Don't worry, it takes more than his lady don to get injured.
Sighting, he grabbed her hands and engulfed in the bear hug.
" I missed you so much avnii," he says nuzzling into her neck.
" I missed you more Neil. You know how I felt when they said you were missing and they can't find you. It had been a week. I went through hell. You know I used to pray to every god to make you land safely and make you come back t me. I never wanted to feel that way ever again, Neil. Promise me you won't do such stuff again. I thought I had lost you, forever. How can you do that, Neil did you forget about m- " her words cut by his hand.
Even listening to her speaking she meant nothing to him, was like a heartbreak.
Looking at her pout he chuckled and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead and uttered
" You are cute when you blabber "
Making her remind the first time they had an actual conversation and had actually been aware of the presence of each other.
~ FLASHBACK ~
Neil, used to visit Mr. Shergil house quite occasionally.
They had talked once or twice for a formality, that's it, but couldn't be a bit more personal.
Once, when he was waiting for his mentor to arrive he saw a girl pacing back and forth in Cap T-shirt and ripped jeans along with my beanie.
She was so involved that she didn't notice a person approaching.
Clearing his throat, he asked one direct question.
" You are into superheroes? " Neil asked from behind.
She jumped at a familiar voice as she wasn't aware of the presence around.
Getting the confidence, she blabbered as usual.
" You are doubting that? I love cap FYI " she said proudly.
This made him chuckle.
" Is that so? " he said coolly.
" Yeah, cuz cap, unlike everyone, doesn't need any technology or any other stuff to defend himself. He is on his own and he does what is right. He never backs out. He is a real superhero. But I wished cap is paired with the black widow. I liked them both together. But it's ok what can we do. But I really really really love the cap. I have no idea why. I mean I like others too no offense but I like cap more. Whom do you like? I guess it's the iron man right? Generally guys like iron man more because of the technology. But my cap is a genuine person who doesn't give a shit about technology. Not that they're bad, but I like cap more. But- "I started rambling till I felt a hand on my mouth again.
" You are cute when you ramble, " he said smiling
" And I like cap too, " he said and my eyes widened.
Taking his hand off he moved back to make the distance more between us.
And, that's how the first actual convo took place.
That way they started speaking about various topics, like movies, songs, tattoos, politics, society and all.
And one-day situations rendered and they got into a relationship.
It had taken him nearly 2 months to make her agree.
But he did it.

They still remained engulfed in each other arms, savoring the missing feeling from days.
The love, between them, was visible.
And, they again heard a clearing of the throat, that made them move away immediately, but their hands were still intertwined.
Mr.shergil was fuming, he approached them and make them stand there in the same place by twisting each of their ears.
" I knew it, something was definitely going on with you guys. When I said you were injured my bacha was all torn. She couldn't tell me nor anyone. She was struggling inside. But, she thought I wouldn't know " He released them and approached his precious bacha
" But, I am you papa pumpkin, how wouldn't I know when you are suffering. hmm, tell me " he said and kissed her daughter.
Both the entities were darn shocked by this revelation.
Here, they are struggling, how to convey this to Mr.Shergil. But, they never thought, Mr. shergil himself would approve this.
" That doesn't mean I approve this, you need to earn it Neil. But I am happy for having my chirpy baby back. Thank you " he said and left the couple alone to digest.
" Woah " uttered Neil and took his lady love in his arms again and pecked her forehead.
And, that is it.
