The first day.

Abby's pov

I woke to the sound of my alarm. it was the first year of being a senior. I am sorta scared

because of college exams and stuff. I got out of bed and got dressed. I walked into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. Next I went back into my room and did my hair. A loose side braid would be fine. I decided to skip breakfast because I only had 30 minutes to get to school. I grabbed my keys and left. My parents leave the house at 6am so I didn't see them. I locked the front door and headed to my car. I drove myself to school and parked. I got out of the car and I looked at my phone. 7:35 am. I had 10 minutes!

I went to the doors. Went to my class, and was surprised by what I saw. Their was only one student in the class. He was sitting front row all the way to the left. I walked through the door. He heard the door open. He looked at me as I smiled back. "Hi, I'm Abby." I introduced myself as I walked into the room. "I'm Kendall." He said back in a sweet voice. He removed his books that were on the desk next to him. "Here, you can sit here, if you want." I did. I put my books on the desk and slid into the seat. Kendall,examined my outfit. "Hey, I uh, like your shirt." He stated. "Oh thanks" I looked down. it was purple and blue plaid. Nothing special. The room was silent.

Soon a teacher walked in. "Good morning students!" I looked around. I didn't notice other kids walked in the room. It felt like kendall was the only person who had my attention.

The day went by rather fast. Lunch soon came. I sat next to by Best friend, Nicole. I have been friends with her since like 1st grade. I saw a tall blonde sit down across from me. "Hi Kendall!" I said with a smile. "Hey." He said. Nicole nudged me and gave me "the look". I nudged her back and told her to cut it out. I tried to focus on what the people next to me were gossiping about. But I was to busy talking with Kendall.

The bell rang meaning lunch was over. I hurried to get to my next class; music. When I got there Kendall was there. I smiled and went to get myself a book. My phone buzzed from my back pocket. I sat back down with the book, across from kendall. I pulled out my phone and read the text message to myself

Text message:

Nicole: I can tell that you have a crush on the new guy, kendall.

Abby: idk maybe. He's so nice and really cute.

Nicole: 😂 you crack me up bae!

I looked at kendall and thought for a second.

Abby: yeah I do have a crush on him. Tell him and I will hurt you.

~end of text messages~

Kendall had an amazing voice! Mostly like a angel! He could hit the high notes and the low notes!

The bell rang. The students stormed out of the room to get to study hall. We did our

best to finish our homework at school so that we could hang out after school. I piled my books basically taking my time. I left the room with kendall following me.

We went to study hall and I luckily finished my homework so I didn't have to do it later.

I noticed kendall staring at me. Does he like me? What ever, it doesn't matter. I'll know the truth if he asks me out.

It was end of last period. Thank God. I went to my locked and put my books away. I came back and ran into kendall. We just smiled and said a friendly hello. The bell rang. School was out for the day. I quickly left but a voice calling my name stopped me. "Hey Abby, I know I just met you but um..." Kendall started to say. I could tell I was blushing as I started into his beautiful green eyes and as I admired is dirty blonde hair. "You just very beautiful and so nice. Maybe we could go out sometime?" Kendall asked. "Yeah sure. That's sounds fun. Maybe mini golfing or something. Here call me on this number to tell me the details." I said. I pulled out a piece of scrap paper and wrote my number down. I handed him the paper. He smiled with his sweet white smile. We walked off to end our first day of school. I was happy that I got a date with kendall. This was the start to a relation that could hopefully last a life time.
