Chapter 3

Celestine knew what happened to Logan and the Buenaventura Groups of Company for six years.She knew that two years since she disappeared from the city, Buenaventura had a problem, but Logan overcame it by marrying Jessica Alcantara, but that didn't last long. According to the information that reached her, after three years of success, there was a scandal in Jessica's family company which was now dragging Buenaventura.Celestine was also surprised then that Logan and Jessica had a child that they gave birth to almost at the same time. This means that when she and Logan were still together, something was happening between them that produced a boy, Jude.Celestine looked at Jude. Only now did she notice that he looked like Jessica, from the shape of his face and eyes.The man started paging."You can stay here, Jude? We can leave you here. You just wait for your parents to pick you up," Celestine said to the boy.Even though she was Logan and Jessica's daughter, Celestine couldn't help but be angry because she knew the boy knew nothing of his parents' actions."Thank you very much," Jude thanked Celestine.Jude looked at Roma, who was looking at him. Roma's eyes were serious, looking at Jude."Thank you, too. What is your name?" Jude asked Roma."Roma, Roma Montiano," he answered."Come on, Roma. Jade might have bought your things," Celestine called to her son.Roma approached Celestine. He held her hand, and she looked at his mother.They walked away from the Information Desk. As they walked, a man dashed to the Information Desk Logan.Celestine saw him, but she ignored him. Roma, his eyes followed the running man."Jude?" Logan called his son's name.Jude looked at the door and saw Logan holding the edge of the door."Daddy!"Jude ran to where his father was. He knelt to hug his son.When Logan discovered that Jude was missing, he couldn't help but worry. He was afraid that his son might be lost, just like the death of his wife and their future child.When he heard that Jude was at the Information Desk, he quickly ran to see his son. When he saw it, his mood relaxed."Who brought you here, Jude?" Logan asked his son."A beautiful woman and child like me, Daddy," answered Jude to his father."Where are they?" he asked."They already left because they have more to buy," he answered.Logan just sighed. He approached the woman who was paging earlier to thank her.They walked back to where Jessica was. When they got to where he was, Jessica immediately grabbed Angelo."Where have you been, Jude!?" Jessica shouted at the boy.The people inside the mall looked up because of Jessica's voice. Jude just bowed and answered."I followed Daddy earlier, but I didn't see where he went. I was about to go back, but I don't know how to go back," Jude answered weakly and with fear.Jessica twisted Angelo's ear, "Next time, don't walk alone!" she shouted at the boy."Ouch, Mom! It hurts!" Jude moaned because of his mother's twitching."That's enough, Jessica!" Logan ordered her softly but firmly.Jessica let go of Jude's ear.Jessica looked at Logan, "Your son will never learn from his mistakes because you condone what he's doing!" Jessica said to Logan.Logan approached his son, who was crying. He wiped her tears with his left thumb."Let's go home!" Logan said.Logan took his son's hand and started walking. Jessica's eyes narrowed because of what had happened. What he thought was their family bonding now is broken, broken because of Jude!"Mommy, who are you looking at?" Roma asked Celestine in surprise.Celestine was looking at a man holding a boy, Logan. She can see how much he protected his son from Jessica. Because of what she saw, she clenched his fists.Envy Celestine felt envy because of what she saw. If only her husband hadn't become a demon, she wished they would be the ones walking around the mall now. She wanted them to be together in a house, but no, that will never happen because of what happened." Nothing, Roma. I thought I knew someone I saw, but I didn't," Celestine lied to her son.They continued shopping for their things. From the clothes, they will use during their stay here in the country to Roma's equipment in his new school study here.After they finished shopping, Jade took them to new sights in the city.Celestine just smiled as she saw her son smiling, happy while watching the animals here in a Zoo. They also went to Amusement parks and rode rides, played games, and ate.Roma's joy cannot be overstated because, for the first time, he experienced something like this.Celestine cannot deny that she did not experience this with Roma when they were in Europe because she was busy preparing for her return and revenge.Celestine studied at a University in Europe and took Fashion Designing, then trained with famous European Fashion Designers.Celestine wouldn't be able to do all of this if it weren't for Carson, the man who helped her to fight death. He helped Celestine get an education and into one of the biggest companies in Europe, the Morgan Group of Companies. Here, she also meets someone who also helps him other than Carson.It was late when they got back to where they were staying. When they got home, Roma immediately washed his body and slept.Celestine and Jade were in the living room having coffee and watching a television show."I know you saw Logan earlier," Jade said to her friend."We helped his son to the Information Desk earlier," said Celestine.Jade looked at Celestine, "So you and Logan met?" she immediately asked."We never met. When the boy told them who his parents were, Roma and I immediately left," she answered."Why? Why didn't you show at him earlier?"Celestine looked at Jade."Don't tell me you were lying when you said you were ready for confrontation again?" she asked." I'm ready, Jade! I have nothing to fear because I prepared for Logan to meet again!" Celestine answered her firmly.Jade stared at Celestine. She could feel the anger in her eyes. Who wouldn't if that's what the person you love the most was planning to do, right?" Just ensure you don't waste everything you've prepared, Celestine. Maybe when you meet, the flowers you've planted will fold," Jade told her.Celestine understood what she wanted to convey.She wouldn't let that happen. She prepared it for a long time. She invested a lot of effort and sweat to get where she was, and she planned it for a long time to ensure everything went according to her.Tomorrow is the scheduled day for the two of them to meet again." Don't worry, Jade, because I'll ensure that doesn't happen!" Celestine told Jade.The next day, Celestine woke up early to get ready to go to Buenaventura Groups of Company.Roma was still sleeping when she finished cooking breakfast and preparing his son's clothes.Even though Celestine was busy in Europe, she never missed caring for her son.When everything was fine, she went to the bathroom to shower and prepare for his departure.It was eight in the morning when Celestine left. Before he left, he told Jade what to do, and then he went.While Celestine was walking out of the house where they were staying, she suddenly heard her cell phone ring."Hello?" she answered." Your pick-up is almost there. Just wait outside your house," said the man on the other line, Carson."Thank you, Carson. Don't worry. We will succeed in our plan," Celestine told him." Just be careful, Celestine. You know Logan, and I know you know what he can do," Carson reminded her."Don't worry, everything is ready," said Celestine.After their conversation, Celestine waited for the car to pick her up. Less than ten minutes later, a red car pulled up in front of him. A man in uniform got out, and he opened the car door for her.When she got inside the car, they started to travel to Buenaventura Groups of Company.Their flight took almost thirty minutes before they arrived at the company's large building.Celestine looked up. Nothing had changed in the building since she left, but she knew how it was run, which Logan had changed for his personal preference.Celestine closed her eyes and sighed. When she opened her eyes, she started walking into the building.She smiled as she walked towards the entrance of the building. The guards couldn't help but stare at Celestine as they saw a beautiful angel walking toward them."Who are they, ma'am?" Celestine stopped when a guard spoke."Celestine Montiano," she mentioned her name.The guards immediately let her in when they heard who she was. They had been told about her, so they didn't hesitate to let him in.He was still smiling as she walked towards the information desk. Celestine felt that everyone she met turned to her.Who can't turn to her?From her wearing a red tube dress that almost fits her beautiful body. Add to that its smooth skin that even mosquitoes were shy to land on.If you look at it, her outfit is seductive and hot to the eye, but because of the way she carried her outfit, what you can see here is its elegance."Good morning, Miss. I'm Ms. Celestine Montiano. I have an appointment with Mr. Logan Morales," Celestine introduced the woman at the Information Desk with a smile."Sir Logan has been waiting for you, ma'am. Sit on the sofa first, and I will tell Sir Logan that you are here," the woman said to him with a smile.Celestine walked over to the sofa as the woman told her. While sitting, she couldn't help but look inside. Nothing has changed inside it. What it was then was still the same today.She just closed her eyes and waited to be called.She was sitting like that when she heard a woman's voice."Why can't I go in? Is there a woman with him inside!?" asked the woman at the information desk." Nothing, ma'am but..." the woman's voice stuttered. She didn't finish what she had to say when the woman spoke again.It was obvious to the woman at the Information desk that she was afraid of the woman in front of her, Jessica." If not, accompany me to Logan's office right now! " she ordered the woman.Celestine grinned. She stood up from her seat and approached where they were." Excuse me, miss. Aren't we going to Mr. Logan Morales' office yet? " Celestine asked.Jessica looked at Celestine. She observed Celestine from head to toe.Jessica raised an eyebrow when she noticed what Celestine was wearing." Who are you? Are you my husband's lover now!? " Jessica asked Celestine.Celestine grinned because of Jessica's question. She thought of something she wanted to do.She just wanted to congratulate Jessica, the girl who made Logan happy before, the girl Logan traded her for, Logan's woman.
