CHAPTER 33

" Where do you all live?"

"Where is your house "

" Next to my neighbors house "

" Where is your neighbors house ?"

"You won't believe me if I tell you " AJ joked.

"Tell me" Rhy insisted.

" Next to my house " AJ said taking a seat in the chair next to mama Sheila. We all laughed. Rhy nodded his head as he chuckled.

" And don't you ever forget it " he said rubbing his chin.

I looked around the room at everyone. Brit was beside me so I pulled her in and on cue my nurse walked in.

" Good morning " she said greeting everybody.

" Good morning " we all spoke at once. She smiled at me. Brit moved directly Infront of me which placed her In front of the nurse. I gripped her shoulders discreetly because she ain't bout to fight while she pregnant with my baby and I don't know how many times I have to stress that.

" Well August your getting better can you demonstrate your walking for me ?" She asked looking from her clipboard to me.

I tapped Brits sides so she could move. She shifted to the side of me and I tried my best to get up from the end and although it took awhile and a lot of strength I got up and slowly walked on my wobbly legs.

" Don't stress it babe go slow" Brit encouraged.

" Yea you'll get the groove back in them but don't strain yourself " mama spoke.

I heard them , but I didn't listen. I can fucking walk and even tho this shit hurts and my legs are weak I refuse to

" Mr. Alsina your going to need a wheelchair to transport you around because your legs haven't quite regained there strength and your going to need a respirator for your breathing because it's a bit off. But if you slow down your work process and sleep more and drink water constantly you should very much be fine " she said smiling. I nodded. Damn. I ain't want a wheelchair.

" Excuse me but do you have something stuck in your teeth?" Shay asked politely

She looked in the mirror and both Shay and Aria laughed like hyenas.

" Cause you was cheesin hella hard " Aria spoke while laughing.

Brit joined in. The nurse face turned red " if you need me push the button" she said rushing towards the door.

" Thanks for everything " I said. Brit smacked my head and put her finger in my face. I tried to bite her finger she quickly pulled it away.

" Don't be funny " She said strongly. I laughed and kissed her cheek quickly.

She wiped off my cheek. I held my heart in shock and fake cried. She shrugged.

" You'll live " she said. Looking towards mama who was smirking.

" What you smirking fo 'Sheila ?" I asked

" Y'all. Came a long way. " She said sounding just like somebody mama.

" Yo did. And I'm regretting it everyday " I joked. Mama shook her head.

" Baby I'm so proud of you. Seriously. All I want you to do is ease up. You got another baby on the way and I just want you to be healthy and ready for her. Plus , you have AJ already. Who y'all raised to be a fine young man. I need you baby. You don't know how scared I was when I got that call that you passed out. I mean it was plastered all over the tv. It scared me. I already lost one please spare me a second because my poor little heart can't take it " She said getting emotional.

I couldn't help but let a few tears fly. It was my mama , I always got a soft spot for my mama. Everybody knows that. I wasn't afraid to let my tears go.

I reached my arms out for my mother to invade them. I hugged her so hard and kissed her cheek.

" I got you ma. " I said. She nodded.

" Sorry to ruin the mushy moment. But yeah grandma you compared me to a baby and I'm a very grown man " AJ spoke up. Causing us all to laugh. She ruffed his hair up and pushed him back.

" Boy please. Grown my ass. Take ya snot nose on over there to yo mama"

We all laughed.

" August you not Rey laugh that off like you wasn't just crying 5 seconds ago like a bitch on her period " Rhy joked.
