No one believes in faerie tales anymore. They don’t believe in the knight on his noble white steed.
Prince Charming died with the coming of the twenty-first century,
Cinderella left alone to find her way in the big city.
The world grew smaller. Fantasies became just that, fantasies.
No one thinks about finding their prince or princess, only money and more money.
-No, faerie tales are overrated in this modern world.
Snow White ate the apple and never woke up,
Briar Rose still sleeps in her castle of thorns.
Cinderella lost her slipper to a man who will never look for her.
And sweet Rapunzel is stuck in her tower, alone and never to be heard.
This is because faerie tales are overrated, dying like a plague.
Romance is gone and all the gentlemen have faded.
But then again, it must be true-
