chapter6 the guilt

Riker's POV-

I know its risky that everybody could hear it, but i didnt care i really liked Lindey either face-to-face or not.

I know im not in love with her though, its probably just a little crush. because, i know what love feels like. I also know what heart break feels like.

~flashback~

I had flowers in my hand and my tux on, i double checked that the ring was in my coat pocket, yes i was going to propose to the love of my life! i knocked on Jessica's door.

There was no answer. I rang the door bell, still no answer. I started to panic. I started to text her and call her, no respond

I opened the door. Shes home, obviously, she always locks the door when she leaves.

I walked up the stairs torwards her room. I started to hear moans.

Oh please dont let Jessica be cheating on me please. I opened her door to find myself heartbroken.

Jessica was having sex with the school player! I dropped the flowers and started sobbing.

I yelled/cried "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON"

Jessica jumped off him and looked at me with shock and sorrow.

"I-i can explain" she said.

"EXPLAIN?! EXPLAIN WHAT THAT YOYR SLEEPING WITH THE SCHOOL MAN-WHORE?!" i yelled

She looked scared, ive never taken that tone with her.

"You know its funny, i thought you actully loved me-" i got cut off

"I DO LOVE YOU!" she yelled/cried

"BULL SHIT IF YOU LOVED ME YOU WOULDNT BE SLEEPING WITH THIS DICK" i yelled i was furious with anger

I got on top of Jake (the player) and started punching his face. He struggled but he wasnt strong enough i kept punching him

"RIKER STOP!" she cried.

She tried pulling me off him, she eventully did and slapped me

"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU MAD AT ME FOR SLUT" slut i regreted the words as soon as a i said them.

But i was still pissed "WE'RE THROUGH GO SLEEP WITH YOUR MAN-WHORE AND STAY OUT OF MY LIFE FOREVER!!" I screamed in her face and left.

Years later i saw her again. Shes now the school slut sleeping with everyone and drinking alcohol and smoking pot. People say its all because of me, shes broken because the love of her life broke her heart.

Well ya know what? She broke mine. I can never date a girl. She ruined me. I feel like their all gonna cheat on me. Its been so hard but ive been trying.

~End of flashback~

I sighed thinking about Jessica almost crying, then Rocky walked in our room

"Hey bro whats wrong?" he asked

"Uhh its just nothing" I replied

"Riker ive known you my whole life, i know when theres something on your mind, tell me." He said.

Damn. He can read me like a book. "Jessica..." i said

Rocky frowned "you have to get over her someday." He said. I knew he was right but, how can you get over the love of your life?

"You need a new girl" he said " how about Leah? Shes cute, shes really funny too, go talk with her.

I sighed, yet again. "But i dont like Leah.... i-i like Lindey" i stuttered.

Rocky was speechless. I got up and left.

When i passed by Rydel's room i herd giggling. "Hey Riker! Wanna go swimming?"Leah asked and looked at me with a pretty smile

I smiled back "sure" maybe Rocky's right maybe Leah is the one.

I told everyone to get their swimming trunks and got my blue ones on.

When walked outside Leah was staring at me biting her lip. Damn shes sexy.

I sat next to her by the pool kicking my feet in the water along with her and started flirting.

Lindey's POV-

when ross walked out i went up to him and said "theres my sexy Shor"

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

"KEEP IT PG" Rocky yelled and we giggled deepened the kiss on purpose

"AHHH MY EYES" Rocky yelled and fell in the pool

I giggled and jumped in the pool. And we all just slpashed eachother.

But i saw 4 love birds: Riker and Leah, Rydel and Ratliff.
