London, England

"Mom, what time is it?", Juleia practically screamed down the stairwell.

"Seven fifteen. Now come on before you miss your bus!", replied Angelica Valentine. She had once been a renowned woman of the law. Now, seventeen weeks pregnant she had to take a break from life as a judicial enforcer.

"Okay, okay! Let me tie my shoes?"

"Hurry up! I am not driving you to school and Jonathan has already went to work!"

"I am! Okay, finished! I'm leaving now!"

"Good. Ah! There goes the bus!"

"No way! He's never this early!"

"Well, you're never this late either. The tables have turned."

"I'm sorry! Please, drive me to school?"

"Yes, go get in the car."

"Thank you. I promise not to let it happen again!"

"It's fine. Just hurry and get in the car."

"Yes, Ma'am."

Mother and daughter made their way, hurriedly, to the car. As they sat off Juleia had a feeling something was about to go down and not in a good way. As if to confirm her fears the lights and engine suddenly flickered madly.

In the next three minutes Mother, Daughter, and fetus's lives would forever end or change. For the better or for the worse.
