Never Say Never

Chapter 1

It was a peaceful morning, for Reborn at least. Everywhere he looked, there are college students rushing somewhere with a mountain of folders that probably make up for  their future.

"Hieeee!!!!! I'm sorry!"

And he just had to be in the way of a clumsy one. Reborn looked down to see his pristine white shirt stained by what smelled eerily the same as the espresso he hadn't even had a chance to sip this morning.

"Idiot brat." He grumbled because he just can't seemed to muster enough strength after 4 days of no sleep to chew the boy to pieces.

And the idiot, Tsunayoshi his mind input, didn't get the clue to get lost as soon as possible, and now are trying and failing to wipe the stain off the scary man using his sleeve.

"I'm sorry. I really am! I will compensate the shirt! I really am sorry." The boy didn't even look up, just focusing on the stain.

Reborn eye the brunet in front of him. The spiky brown hair and big chocolate eyes staring back at him. He hum, didn't really feeling like making a  fuss so early in the morning.

"Espresso."

Taken aback, Tsuna look up and tilt his head a little. "W-what?."

"Buy me an espresso and you will be forgiven." Slightly amused but still very annoyed at the boy, he walk off without waiting for  a reply, silently daring fate to throw another idiot his way. The dark aura around him darken just thinking about it.

"Ah, yes sir." Tsuna look at the back of the man. He stares for a few moments before picking up his papers and rush off to Mrs. Lana's office.

Reborn stood emotionless in front of the barista, impatiently waiting for his order. Said barista could feel the sharp stare on his back and slightly tremble while pouring the coffee into a to-go cup.  

The barista hands the cup to Reborn, hands shaking violently. "Here's your drink. I'm very sorry for the delay, sir. Have a nice day." He tried to keep his voice calm and unaffected even though beads of perspiration had already roll down his forehead.

"Hn." Reborn took the coffee, nearly slam the money on the counter before walking away, not bothering with the frightened barista, fumbling with the money.

Reborn walk to the outside patio of the cafe. The largest group, consist of 5 people is talking and joking around, standing out with their fashion and attractiveness. Collonello and Lal, are fighting/flirting, Luce and Fon are probably chatting about different types of teas they tasted at the tea convention she drag them too last weekend, and Skull is focused on his laptop, most probably finishing an assignment he forgot to do till the last minute.

"Weird idiot kid." Is the first word they heard when Reborn take a seat around the table. Luce look around and met with confused face of Skull and amused face of Fon. Reborn still slightly grumble under his breath while sipping his espresso, shoulder slowly easing and relax. Luce, Fon and Skull just stay silent for a few minutes to let Reborn calm down., though Fon raise a brow at his friend's state.

"What the hell, Reborn?! Your suit is covered in coffee!" Comes the smart comment from Collonello who just realized his friend's appearance.

"No shit, Sherlock. Shut up." Reborn throw a wrapping paper on the table to the blond. 

The paper ball hit Collonello on the forehead leaving a slight red mark. "Who shit in his coffee today?" He said while rubbing his forehead. Skull snickered at the sight earning a  glare from the blond. He quickly pull his head in, hiding behind his laptop screen.

Another figure approach the table, a green haired man with a  lab coat. "Hey Reborn. Who's the cute girl I saw bowing at you." He took a seat in front of Reborn, sipping a green tea latte.

"Girl?" Reborn was sure it was the clumsy brunet BOY, not a girl. But its not like a lot of people were bowing to him today.

"Yeah, the one in sweatshirt and had brown hair." Verde nonchalantly said while scrolling on his tablet.

Reborn thought, well, he did look like a girl, weak and small ."Just someone I know." He didn't think it matter enough to tell the group. They had a history of making a storm out of a breeze.

"Do everyone you know bow to you?" Came the sassy reply from Skull, he didn't look up from his laptop, too afraid to look Reborn in the eyes.

"Anyone with brains."
