More cliche'd poetry, eh?

Our hearts are like pieces of a puzzle,

Baby, we fit together perfectly.

Don't worry about tomorrow,

Because right now, it's just you and me.

You ignite my love,

Like flames on paper,

Like music on the water,

Like the sunrise through the drapes.

I sigh, but butterflies escape,

My stomach flutters as you speak,

And you must wonder what's wrong with me,

But I can't explain-I'm just too meek.

And so I dream of yesterdays,

Tomorrows and the time again,

When I'll be near you,

But for now, my love I'll send.

Life isn't life,

Without you by my side,

I'll say again, these cheap cliches,

And know it's only you in whom I choose to confide.

I fall head over heels,

Your name carved in my head,

And I linger on your every kiss,

And on every word you've said.
