So...it started raining. And since we had some animals tied outside, we had to rush to get them inside before the rain got crazy, since it is supposed to at some point tonight.
I took my goat into the barn. No problem. I grabbed a lead rope and went up the hill to get my cow. Still no problem. I clipped the lead rope to the cow. She pulls, but she's only six months old and about 150-ish pounds, maybe a little more, so I can still handle her (thank goodness!). Still pretty much no problem.
I started walking her down the hill. She really wanted to run to the barn, but my sister and her cow were ahead of us, and I didn't really want their deaths on my hands (and my cow's hooves...sorry, couldn't resist). But I managed. Very minor problem.
Finally, when we were most of the way down, I let go of the lead. She ran to the barn. Absolutely noooo problem!
I started to follow her. *annoying buzzer noise* Problem!
The grass was wet. And so was the luckily small, luckily week-old cow pie that I stepped in. And slipped on.
Long story short, I went down flat on my right side, including bouncing my head off of the ground and landing in a couple more cow pies and mud patches. And then I laid there catching my breath and getting rained on.
Yeah. Fun.
===================================================
That was possibly the longest, most boring thing I have ever written in my life. AND IT HAD LIKE NO ENDING.
IT JUST SORT OF...ENDED. ABRUPTLY.
